Saunders felt his hamstring lock up on him on Wednesday, and was held of of Thursdays' contest for the same reason. The full extent of this injury isn't yet known, but seeing as he's listed as day to day, it doesn't appear to be aything serious. Ezequiel Carerra will get the start in right field in his place Friday.
In what comes in as a bit of a surp;rise, Blue Jays IF Devon Travis is once again out of the lineup Friday. This will be the fourth straight game missed by Travis, who is apparently still dealing with soreness in his hand even after receiving his cortisone shot Tuesday. Travis is still technically listed as day to day, and nothing suggests that will change.

Since becoming a starter in 2001, Tom Brady has only had one season where did not play in a preseason game, and that was in 2008. This year, he has yet to play, but it appears that it's going to change Friday as the Patriots take on the Carolina Panthers. It is unkown yet whether it will be Brady who starts, or Jimmy Garoppolo, who has been the starter in the previous two games, and just how many snaps each will get.
