Update: The contract extension given to Doug Baldwin is worth $46 million over four years with $24.25 million guaranteed.

Baldwin had said he was not worried about getting his new deal worked out. It looks like he has finally received his just rewards, after breaking out big time in 2015 as the most-productive WR on the Seattle roster.

Josh Harrison is not in the Pirates' starting lineup against the Mariners on Tuesday.

Harrison is sitting in favor of Adam Frazier, who gets his first major league start. The Mariners have right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma on the mound on Tuesday, prompting the move to the bench for the right-handed hitting Harrison.

Gregory Polanco returned to the Pirates' starting lineup against the Mariners on Tuesday.

The Pirates have to be excited to get their outfield back in order. Of course, he is only going to handle DH duties to begin, so tap your brakes for the moment. Polanco will be hitting at the top of the order, in the two hole on Tuesday.

Carlos Beltran left Tuesday's game against the Rangers with an apparent hamstring injury.

That is not good news for the veteran outfielder. He has been playing at a top level this season, and certainly the Yankees do not need any of their top players to be unavailable for any length of time. Of course, if he has to hit the DL, then Aaron Judge may get an opportunity to show off his skill set, which has to excite fantasy owners.

Sources close to the Seahawks report that the team has agreed to a contract extension with Doug Baldwin.

Baldwin broke out as a top receiving option in 2015, even though he plays on the run-oriented Seahawk offense. Details about the length and other terms will be coming out later, it is presumed. Just be happy that Russell Wilson's primary receiving option is going to be happy.
