Flowers suffered a concussion in the Week 3 game against the Colts. Although he was able to practice on a limited basis this past week, he is still not ready to take the field. If you for some reason were holding him in your IDP league, it is now time to drop him for a player who will provide some stats.
Burley strained his hamstring in the Week 6 contest against the Titans, and was forced to leave the game. He was held out of practice all week, and the injury looks to be significant at this point. Freeman boasts a good arm that can rack up the Ks, but also suffers from a lack of control. He spent the bulk of last year in Triple-A with the Brewers' minor league affiliate at Colorado Springs, where he was not exactly unhittable, posting a 5.20 ERA and 1.65 WHIP over 55 and 1/3 innings. He could wind up in the Braves bullpen if he can demonstrate a return to form in the spring.
