Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Pitchers: Week 13
Ivar G. Anderson

Ryan Rua is not in the Rangers lineup on Saturday.

It makes sense that Rua, who is hitting just .214 against righties would sit with Steven Wright on the hill. Nomar Mazara will start in left and bat third in Rua's place.

X-rays came back negative on Enny Romero's left hand after being struck by a line drive during Saturday's game.

Good news for the Rays reliever. Romero threw 1.1 innings in relief of Matt Andriese in the first game of a day/night doubleheader against the Orioles. He has posted a 3.86 ERA in 25.2 innings out of the Rays bullpen this season.

Gavin Floyd left Saturday's game with shoulder tightness.

Floyd was only able to record one out in Saturday's game before being replaced. On the season he is sporting a 4.06 ERA out of the Blue Jays bullpen. He will be evaluated, but he does not impact your fantasy roster.

CC Sabathia (ankle) threw a bullpen on Saturday and will make his next start.

Sabathia, who tweaked his ankle in his last start will make his next start on schedule on Tuesday at home against the Rangers. CC has been a nice bounceback pitcher this year, posting a 2.71 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP. Keep starting him with the run he is on.

Kyrie Irving has accepted his invitation to play for the United States olympic team.

As most young players do, Irving will play for the United States in this summer's Olympics in Brazil. Coming off of his first NBA title, he was a solid contributor alongside LeBron James in bringing the Championship to Cleveland. Even though Irving defers to King James offensively, he is still worthy of being taken in the early rounds on draft day 2016-17.

A.J. Reed is in the Astros lineup on Saturday.

The young slugger figures to sit against most left handed pitchers, since he was only hitting .222 off of them at Triple-A. So far on the season, Reed has put up a .266/.345/.509 line with 11 home runs in 222 AB's at Triple-A Fresno. If you have room for him, his power potential makes him worth an add in most formats. Just know that he will not play everyday until he can show he can hit lefties.
