Dion Waiters says he wants to return to the Thunder.

Waiters has a bit of a breakout in the playoffs, and while he could probably parlay that into a big contract from a desperate team like the Nets, Oklahoma City is probably the best place for Waivers on and off the court. While Waiters would likely have a higher ceiling on another team, the odds are he would be a disaster someplace else, like Lance Stephenson has been since leaving the Pacers.

Dalton Pompey left Monday's game with Triple-A Buffalo with an apparent knee injury.

Pompey said that he just banged his knee against the wall, so his removal from the game seems to be more precautionary then anything. Unless the Toronto outfield falls victim to the injury bug, Pompey seems destined for a full year in the minors.

Update: Miguel Rojas left Monday's game with a shoulder injury.

Rojas was promptly replaced by Derek Dietrich, who had been dealing with a head injury himself. Rojas is a role player right now, so his injury shouldn't impact many fantasy teams.

Nate Chandler will visit with the Lions this week.

All teams could use some extra bodies up on the offensive line and the Detroit Lions are no exception. Quarterback Matthew Stafford would love for the team to bring in some extra bodies so he can stay upright this season.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi hopes sending down Luis Severino could help him figure things out like Roy Halladay did early in his career.

Well hopefully they aren't expecting a similar career path like Roy Halladay. Severino has a lot of potential, but he's struggled this year. After being called up last year, he went 5-3 with a 2.89 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and a 56:22 K/BB ratio in 62.1 innings. This year has been much to the different, to the tune of a 0-6 record, 7.46 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and a 27:10 K/BB ratio in 35 innings. The optioning to Triple--A could be rewarding for Severino and the Yankees, but the process is going to take some time.
