After hurricanes and blizzards, we have finally reached Week 10 of the NFL season where the players play for pay (thanks Mike Francesa). Your fantasy league’s playoffs are already around the corner so you should be fully prepared to make your move in the standings right now. Injuries continue to wreak havoc on everyone’s rosters, but the good news is that there are only two weeks left where teams have byes. This should help expand the pool of available free agents who can step in for you. So without further adieu, here is the Week 8 edition of the walking wounded for fantasy football.

It is the final week of the regular season and although most leagues are finished now, there are still some playing for their championship this week. There are so many factors going into this last week as far as who has what playoff seed locked up and if teams are going to rest their star players. This final injury report isn't going to cover those who are just going to be rested unless that comes with being injured. You really have to be careful now with teams who might give their stars a try and take them out after a quarter or a half. Perhaps a guy you know is going to get full playing time will be better even if he isn't as talented. Good luck to all of you in this final week and we love to hear about your successes in your leagues this year. Another week, another load of injuries in the NFL. Yet again there were many guys who went down who play significant roles on your team. The Green Bay Packers are getting all too familiar with this list, as are the St. Louis Rams. Quarterbacks are the most represented this week, but a couple of significant running backs are here as well as one of the best young tight ends. In most cases there will be further news later this week, so keep it here at Fantasy Alarm for all the best news on injuries. And of course, sign up for the Fantasy Alarm service to get all of the updates right to your phone or email.
