Jamaal Charles Headshot

According to Ian Rappaport, a source inside the Chiefs front office confirms Jamaal Charles will play Week 4. He'll be on a 10-15 snap count.

Jamaal Charles according to a source from the Chiefs will play Week 4 reports Ian Rappaport. Charles will be on a "pitch count" against the Steelers. The veteran is expected to get between 10-15 snaps in the game. The Fantasy impact is to keep Charles on your bench and continue to start Spencer Ware against a banged up Steelers defense. Good news for Charles owners to finally see him play after recovering from an ACL injury sustained last season.

Jahlil Okafor Headshot

Jahlil Okafor said his knee is feeling ok.

76ers center, Jahlil Okafor said his knee is feeling "fine." Through the week he did some individual drills on the sides and didn't participate in any scrimmages. Good news on Friday that Okafor was able to scrimmage.

J.J. Watt Headshot

Bill O'Brien says J.J. Watt is definitely out for the season following his surgery.

After J.J. Watt reinjured his back last week against the Patriots has decided to go under the knife and fix the issue. Adam Schefter of Espn reports that Watt underwent back surgery Thursday and is expected to be the remainder of the season. Watt had 1.5 sacks and eight tackles in three games this season. The Houston Texans will miss the 2015 Defensive Player of the Year.

Antonio Gates Headshot

Antonio Gates (hamstring) has not practiced this week. He's very doubtful for Week 4.

Gates was not close to playing in Week 3 and it appears he's not likely to play Week 4 either. If Gates is out, Hunter Henry will assume the pass-catching duties at tight end, and will face a horrendous Saints defense that ranked last in PPG to tight ends last season. That makes him an intriguing play in DFS but not exactly someone you want to target for more than a week or so in seasonal.

Bashaud Breeland Headshot

Bashaud Breeland (ankle) will not play Week 4.

Breeland is dealing with a high ankle sprain and missed most of practice this week. He'll sit out Week 4 and is hopeful he can return next week but high ankle sprains tend to be multi-week injuries. Kendall Fuller will fill in for Breeland at corner.

Josh Doctson Headshot

Josh Doctson (Achilles) will not play Week 4.

Doctson was absent from practice the entire week and could be out for multiple weeks, per Head Coach Jay Gruden. Doctson injured his achilles in the offseason and it was feared that he'd miss his entire rookie year, but he was able to avoid a serious issue, but it appears the injury is still nagging him. It's likely going to be an up and down year for the rookie so if you're holding onto him in anything except a dynasty league, you can cut bait.

Ka'Deem Carey Headshot

Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 4.

It will be the Jordan Howard show this Sunday against the Lions as the Bears will be without Jeremy Langford and now probably Ka'Deem Carey. Howard is going to be an RB2 on volume alone and is a solid cash game option in DFS this week. If he performs well, this could be Howard's job permanently.

Alshon Jeffery Headshot

Alshon Jeffery (knee, hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 4.

As is usually the case, Jeffery's status for Week 4 is questionable. If he's forced to miss this week, second-year WR Kevin White could see a huge uptick in targets. Jeffery's status will be updated again on Sunday so if you're an owner, it would be wise to have a backup option ready just in case.

Jay Cutler Headshot

Jay Cutler (thumb) is doubtful for Week 4.

Brian Hoyer will draw the start in Cutler's absence. Cutler is considered week-to-week with a sprained thumb. The skill positions for Chicago take a hit with Hoyer at QB but they weren't exactly lighting it up with Cutler anyways.
