One interesting aspect about this week’s Injury Report is that it is not as star-studded as it has been thus far this season. That doesn’t lessen the impact that these injuries have on your team, but you should be able to get by this week assuming you have accumulated depth on your roster. Well now this was certainly a week of pain for fantasy owners, no? There’s going to be a feeding frenzy on your league’s waiver wire after so many players got bit by the injury bug in Week 7, so I hope you haven’t wasted your position. Hard to say who is going to be available as it all depends on your individual league’s style of play, but after this week, that wire is going to be picked clean. Here’s a look at the most notable injuries from this past week’s game with some notes on who to seek out either on waivers or in a potential trade…
Well, it’s Friday and time to really start making those tough decisions for your lineup this week. Let’s start by checking on the progress made by those that showed up in Tuesday’s Week 3 Aftermath injury report and from there we’ll look at some new developments on the injury front. Remember, this is just the Friday preliminary. Be sure to check back first thing Saturday morning to get a look at the official NFL Injury Report which will be added to the end of this column.
The deeper we go into the season, the longer the injury report seems to get. Quarterbacks are having a particular rough season as both the Titans and Dolphins had multiple hurt quarterbacks in the same game. There is some good news involved in this report of some guys coming back, or at least potentially coming back from injuries, but as usual there are many more going out.
