It’s hard to believe but we are already up to Week 3 of the NFL season. There have been lots of injuries thus far despite the new rules regarding pre-season workouts and an increased emphasis on players’ safety. So without further adieu, here is the Week 3 edition of the walking wounded for fantasy football.
Time again to start sifting through the injury report to get your lineup set for the weekend. Let’s go over who got knocked around during last week’s games and then we’ll hit some of the other bumps and bruises reported during this week’s practices. The weekend is here and it’s time to look at the recent practice schedules and make some tough lineup decisions based on the injuries. As explained last week, we’ll update you on the key impact injuries now and when the official NFL injury report is released later Friday evening, we’ll update this article, add in some additional commentary if needed, and get you 100% prepared for the Week 3 games. Here’s the latest…
It is the final week of the regular season and although most leagues are finished now, there are still some playing for their championship this week. There are so many factors going into this last week as far as who has what playoff seed locked up and if teams are going to rest their star players. This final injury report isn't going to cover those who are just going to be rested unless that comes with being injured. You really have to be careful now with teams who might give their stars a try and take them out after a quarter or a half. Perhaps a guy you know is going to get full playing time will be better even if he isn't as talented. Good luck to all of you in this final week and we love to hear about your successes in your leagues this year. The fantasy playoffs are here and I bet that some teams are sitting home this week after some of your studs that helped you get there either disappeared or were unable to finish the game. It is impossible not to acknowledge the streak of Brett Favre coming to an end, and his protégé Aaron Rodgers left with a concussion the same week. There is plenty of news on guys who will be returning, might not come back at all this season, and of course those who weren't able to stay on the field to the final gun. Of course, if you have any questions or feedback you can email me at email@example.com and I guarantee a response within 18 hours.
