C.J. Anderson Headshot

Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is being helped off the field by trainers.

Both running backs have gone down in this game. Lamar Miller injured his shoulder after a long run and now Anderson is having his leg examined. Consider him questionable to return. Devontae Booker sees a big boost moving forward if Anderson is limited in any fashion.

Blake Bortles Headshot

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley told reporters on Monday that he "firmly believes" in Blake Bortles as the team's starting quarterback.

Bortles has not been the fantasy asset many thought he would this season. He broke out last season, but this year, it's been the complete opposite. Through six games, he's thrown for 1,567 yards and nine touchdowns, while his nine interceptions are already halfway to last year's mark. There's time to turn it around, but there's no doubting that he hasn't been great thus far.

Derek Newton Headshot

Texans offensive linemen Derek Newton is being carted off the field with a leg injury.

Newton was hurt on a third down play in which the Texans continued to struggle offensively. His absence will only further the inability for Houston to move the ball or protect their quarterback.

Marc Gasol Headshot

Marc Gasol (foot) will be on a minutes restriction as the season starts.

At his advanced age, there is no reason to push him early on, especially with his foot injury lingering throughout the preseason. Zach Randolph is likely to see an uptick in minutes early on, while Brandan Wright will see more time once he gets healthy.

Tiago Splitter Headshot

Tiago Splitter (hamstring) was able to take part in individual drills on Monday.

Splitter – healthy or not – will hold no fantasy value going forward. You can move along without worrying about his availability status on a daily basis.

Arian Foster Headshot

Arian Foster has announced his retirement from football.

It's tough to say that this is incredibly shocking considering the fact that he hasn't been healthy in three years now and has virtually no shot at reclaiming his job back from second year sensation Jay Ajayi. In any event, lets remember Foster for who he was as a young player – one of the most talented every down backs in the league, with a keen nose for the end zone. Just as he did after every touchdown – Foster takes a final bow and prayer to all of his fans on Monday night with a press release on "Uninterrupted."

Brandan Wright Headshot

Brandan Wright (ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday's regular season opener.

Wright will be serving as Marc Gasol's immediate backup this season, however to start out the season his ankle flare will leave him out of a uniform. Deyonta Davis and Zach Randolph will see an uptick in minutes during Wright's absence.

Gary Harris Headshot

Gary Harris (groin) took part in practice Monday.

This is a surprising turn of events considering he partially tore his groin under a month ago. Remain wary about his health going forward regardless of his early season availability.

Dario Saric Headshot

Dario Saric (face) will be evaluated Tuesday and is expected to practice.

Saric has struggled during the preseason and this injury doesn't do much to help his chances of getting legitimate playing time during the regular season. Avoid him in all formats.

Isaiah Pead Headshot

Free-agent RB Isaiah Pead worked out for the Redskins Monday.

Although most of us can agree that Matt Jones is talented, he accounted for three fumbles in Week 7. Pead's workout is a message from the coaching staff and front office that no one is above being replaced when it comes to turning the ball over. Jones will likely have his work cut into a bit more if he cannot hang onto the football going forward.
