Amazing that we are already approaching the midway point of the 2012 season. Did you survive the biggest bye week of the season? Julio Jones, Roddy White, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Dwayne Bowe, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Malcom Floyd among those on the sideline during week seven.  This week, Torrey Smith, A.J. Green and Andre and Steve Johnson get a break. If you're like me, you are still getting used to a Thursday night game every week with Tampa Bay and Minnesota kicking off week eight.

Wide Receivers

Mike Wallace owners finally got some value this week as the speedy wide out was targeted a league high 15 times. Vincent Jackson continues to deliver and his presence has helped Josh Freeman get back on track. Torrey Smith is the key to Baltimore's offense, offering a deep threat to keep opponents from ganging up on Ray Rice. Jeremy Kerley has assumed the role that was intended for the injured Santonio Holmes. Lance Moore is the NFC version of Wes Welker and Welker himself has made calls of his demise a distant memory. James Jones and Randall Cobb have stepped up to take the pressure off of Jordy Nelson in the absence of Greg Jennings. Josh Gordon appears to be the real deal in Cleveland and well worth the supplemental draft pick. Hakeem Nicks is slowly healing up and along with Victor Cruz is fantasy money this season on the receiving end of a lights out Eli Manning. How can Minnesota only target Percy Harvin five times? Andrew Hawkins getting lost in the shuffle after a strong start. Justin Blackmon's soft rookie season shows how important a quarterback is to a receivers development. Sidney Rice and Kendall Wright fell off a bit as their rookie quarterbacks, struggle with inexperience and injury. Just when you thought Dez Bryant might be having a breakout season..... Reggie Wayne is having an incredible season and has been incremental in Andrew Luck's success. Finally, Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson are the best two receivers in football in my book, but have been painful for fantasy owners who paid dearly for their services.
