It's time to post the weather for the games, although as I have been doing for the past couple of seasons, I will update these forecasts for the Sunday and Monday games as we get closer to game time.

Right now, the big news is the threat of thunderstorms for tonight's game in Foxboro. We may have a game delay just like we had in Denver last week, or things may just proceed as normal. Either way, don't expect the weather to really alter the game play unless the field gets too muddy for the running backs to find traction.

As I noted above, there will be more to come for the other games in Week 2 as Sunday and Monday approach. Although I report the weather for Fantasy Alarm, I don't really trust the weatherman, and prefer to get a forecast closer to game day.
UPDATE: Guess the rain DID affect the Thursday Night game. At least, that's my explanation for Brady's horrible performance for his owners. He looked a little steamed about his receivers' inability to catch the ball, though, as well.
Anyway, if you want to trust my predictions after that failure to predict what a bit of weather could do to the Patriots/Jets match up, please note that there is a chance of rain and/or thunderstorms in Chicago, Green Bay, Houston, Kansas City, Tampa and Seattle. Not exactly big news that it might rain in St. Petersburg or Seattle, but beware of downpours occurring in the midwest. Each of those rainy stadiums will feature some breezy conditions, too, but nothing really that should effect a QB's performance. It is the chance of a slippery football that concerns me more, limiting passing efficiency. Conversely, the match ups taking place under less wet conditions should show us normal production from your players.
Overall, I tend not to concern myself with rain or light wind when setting lineups. I suspect the New England poor showing had more to do with a lack of experienced depth at WR more than a function of wet conditions. I should have seen it coming, however, and will be more vigilant as the season progresses. For Sunday's games, only the Chief's receiving corps worries me, but then again, they worry me in perfect conditions.
