A seemingly never ending week of football started at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day and wrapped up Monday night at the Linc in Philadelphia. As we wind down and enter the fourth quarter of the season, the cream is certainly rising to the top. Many leagues are approaching the playoffs and the alwayys tricky managing of lineups as some teams look at young talent with their season's basically over, while others rest stars to keep them healthy for the post season.

Wide Receivers
What a difference Brandon Marshall has made in Chicago. Getting Jay Cutler back certainly makes a difference, but with Matt Forte's injury plagued campaign, Marshall has been an invaluable part of an inconsistent Chicago offense. Calvin Johnson hasn't seemed as explosive as a year ago, but his numbers continue to climb. Does the Madden jinx live on? Andre Johnson disappeared at times, but is closing very strong. Steve Johnson streteches the field for Buffalo which opens running lanes for C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Wow! That's all that I can say about Reggie Wayne. I just missed getting him in my auction and have been sorry ever since. Where would Andrew Luck and the playoff bound Colts offense be without him? Hakeem Nicks said all week he was the healthiest he has been in months and it showed in the Giants beat down of Green Bay. Andre Roberts is developing the consistency again after a couple of weak weeks last month. Torrey Smith had a beast game as Baltimore willed their way past the Chargers in San Diego. Cole Beasley looks like a Wes Welker clone and could have earned a second look with a fine Turkey Day performance. Ryan Broyles seemed like a no brainer to kick off week 12 and turned out to be just that. Even though he got in the end zone on Sunday night, Victor Cruz owners may have needed a bit more against the Packers. Brian Hartline may be losing the first look from Ryan Tanneyhill to Davone Bess. Marques Colston targeted "only" five times, once again indicating that numbers are relative. Jordy Nelson and James Jones combined for only four targets, with Jones getting a goose egg. With Greg Jennings still out, no way Green Bay can win with their main wide outs getting so few chances. T.Y. Hilton only targeted three times the week I picked him up.... good timing. Miles Austin, Danny Amendola and Desean Jackson only targeted a total of four times and injuries are to blame in each case. Could Riley Cooper be a sleeper down the stretch in Philly with Desean down for the rest of the year?
