We head into the season's second half with only two bye weeks remaining. Those with week ten off include Larry Fitzgerald and Jordy Nelson, along with marginal fantasy talent in Cleveland and Washington. The good news is Wes Welker returns, the Jets, Niners and Rams do as well, but no surefire wide receiving talent reside with those clubs. Lets take a look at surprise producers in week nine, those that disappointed and the season totals for all that are averaging at least half a dozen targets a game.

Wide Receivers
Has Josh Morgan stepped forward as the top target in Washington? Well, with the Redskins off this weekend, we won't know for another week but that is also when Pierre Garcon is expected to return. Brian Hartline stepped back up after showing some inconsistency. T.Y.Hilton was Andrew Luck's favorite this week, he seems to alternate with Donnie Avery as the target opposite the ageless Reggie Wayne. Rod Streater is really the third option in Oakland, but Carson Palmer found him attractive in week nine. Anytime Andre Johnson shows some life with double digit targets, that's a bonus emerging from that run heavy Houston offense. Jason Avant had some nice numbers on Monday night, but much of the attention came in the hurry up offense. Laurent Robinson with nine targets, but can you really get excited about any receiver in Jacksonville? Donald Jones targeted nine times as well, but I cannot recommend a Buffalo receiver... even to my opponent. Finally, Earl Bennett getting attention from his college teammate Jay Cutler.

Percy Harvin is recovering from an ankle injury, he was on crutches on Monday and wasn't scheduled to practice today. When healthy, the Minnesota offense needs to target him more than half a dozen times per game. Marques Colston got in the end zone on Monday night, but owners expect much more in a prime time game at the SuperDome. Vincent Jackson had some higher than normal production in recent weeks, Sunday was just balancing things out. Dez Bryant was lucky to play on Sunday, negotiating his way in the lineup from the injury list, but production was limited. Antonio Brown owners definitely expect more than three targets from Big Ben. Lance Moore has been overproducing, but we expected more, especially with Darren Sproles in street clothes. I find it difficult to count on Nate Washington, or any Tennessee player for that matter. Santana Moss was a hot pickup, but targeted only a pair of times on Sunday was a disappointment for those counting on him.... don't! Jordy Nelson obviously limited from injury, otherwise an elite fantasy property.
