Josh Doctson Headshot

Josh Doctson said his plan is to increase activities day-by-day.

After rushing back to OTA's and injuring his Achilles before it was fully healed, the rookie receiver isn't going to rush anything this time. There isn't any sort of timeline on Doctson's return, but when he's 100-percent he'll begin ramping it up for the season. The Redskins had quite a receiving attack before Doctson even arrived, now it could be considered elite. Doctson will likely act as the Skins third wideout, but fourth option with the way Jordan Reed catches passes.

Tyler Glasnow Headshot

Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) played catch from 90-feet on Friday.

Since Glasnow is eligible to return from the disabled list on August 8th, this is a good sign he will be able to do so. If he's not, it shouldn't be many days after the 8th. The Pirates number on prospect will rejoin the rotation and stay there the remainder of the season as the team looks to make a August and September playoff push. Glasnow will be most valuable in DFS based on matchups going forward.

Laquon Treadwell Headshot

Laquon Treadwell is mixing in with the first-team offense in Friday's practice.

The Vikings first-round pick is already playing with the first-team offense just two days into practice. Treadwell expects to play a huge role in an improving Vikings offense during his rookie campaign. Treadwell could end up being a solid fantasy WR2 at some point during the year, depending on Teddy Bridgewater's progression of course.

Brandon Nimmo Headshot

Mets have recalled Brandon Nimmo from Triple-A Las Vegas.

With Juan Lagares on the shelf for the foreseeable future, the Mets are going to rely on two young outfielders in Michael Conforto and Brandon Nimmo to help them reach the postseason. Nimmo wasn't very good earlier in the year in the 16 games he played for the Mets. He hit just .235 with one home run and drove in four runs. Nimmo isn't worth a fantasy add until he proves he can hit big league pitching.

Zach McAllister Headshot

Zach McAllister (hip) has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.

McAllister's roster spot opened up when Jeff Manship went on the DL himself. McAllister hasn't had the best season thus far, posting a 5.40 ERA over 26.2 innings. He's nothing more than a middle reliever and has no fantasy impact.

Dillon Gee Headshot

Dillon Gee will start for the Royals on Sunday.

Although the Royals hadn't announced who'd start on Sunday, we all knew it was going to be Gee. Gee's pitched 20 games this year and five of them have been starts. He's been far better as a reliever this season as opposed to a starter, but the Royals are desperate. Don't consider Gee an option in any fantasy format.

Darrelle Revis Headshot

Darrelle Revis (wrist) said there is no timetable for his return to practice.

There's no need for the Jets to rush Revis back since it's just July, so expect Revis to be out for the foreseeable future until his wrist is 100-percent. Revis isn't as good as he once was because he's lost a step but he's still an upper echelon corner in the game.

Ryan Braun Headshot

Ryan Braun is not in the Brewers lineup on Friday.

Braun will miss his second straight game due to an oblique injury. Braun should be considered day-to-day and could return this weekend. Jake Elmore will fill in out in left field until Braun returns.

Kyle Lohse Headshot

Kyle Lohse has refused outright assignment to Triple-A Round Rock and elected free agency.

When Lohse realized he wasn't going to be a part of the Rangers Major League rotation, he elected to choose free agency over the minors. Lohse turns 38 in October and isn't likely going to catch on anywhere after his poor 2015 campaign.

A.J. Schugel Headshot

Pirates optioned A.J. Schugel to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Schugel made 36 appearances with the Pirates before the demotion which seemingly came as a shock. He hasn't been the Pirates best reliever, but he's been average recording a 3.86 ERA over 49 innings. Schugel has been used in a lot of multi-inning appearances so the Pirates could be sending him down to Triple-A to possibly stretch him out as a starter in case they need someone to spot start.
