Shin-Soo Choo Headshot

Shin-Soo Choo, who has been sidelined since mid-August with a fractured left forearm, appears ready to rejoin the team for the playoffs.

We saw Choo take batting practice against live pitching this past weekend and the Rangers are positive that he'll be active for the start of the ALDS. We could even see him join the team before the end of the regular season to get a few at-bats under his belt. He's been out since August 17 with that fractured left forearm. He had a batting line of .247/.369/.416 with seven home runs over 46 games played this season.

J.J. Watt Headshot

Texans have placed DE J.J. Watt on injured reserve.

The real problem is that no one really knows what is going on with Watt's back. The belief is that he's dealing with a herniated disk which is the same injury he had surgery for this off-season. The general consensus is Watt will miss the rest of the season and won't be ready in time to be the Texans' designated-for-return player. This is a huge loss for the team and they'll have to rely on Devon Still and Antonio Smith going forward.

Russell Wilson Headshot

Russell Wilson (knee) rehab plan consist of a live-in Physical Therapist and he wakes up in the middle of the night for treatment.

If this is what gets Russell Wilson back on the field in Week 4 against the Jets, than go for it man. We all know how hard the man works and it is no surprise that he'll go to these lengths to be there for his team. The always optimistic Pete Carroll said, "We feel like he's gonna be fine," and from all indications, we should see Wilson out there on Sunday despite dealing with a sprained MCL.

Kenneth Dixon Headshot

Kenneth Dixon (knee) will return to practice this week.

The Ravens and Dixon had been targeting a Week 4 to make his first NFL appearance and it looks to be coming together. If he does practice, there is a good chance you'll see him on Sunday and he would become the primary back ahead of Justin Forsett. We hope you held onto him in 14-team leagues and even some deeper 12-team ones because his value in that Ravens system is huge.

Kendall Wright Headshot

Kendall Wright (hamstring) is expected to practice in full Wednesday.

The Titans are confident that Kendall Wright will make his season debut on Sunday against the Texans. Wright has been dealing with a lingering hamstring issue since early August and the Titans have done their best to not risk further injury and brought him along slowly. Tennessee currently owns the 24th ranked passing offense in the NFL, so bringing him back in the mix would hopefully be a jump start. The group of rookie Tajae Sharpe and veterans Harry Douglas and Andre Johnson have not done much. Wright would take over the slot role Douglas and is worth watching in PPR leagues.

Le'Veon Bell Headshot

Ben Roethlisberger said the Steelers are still formulating a plan to get Le'Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams on the field together.

This report is contrary to what head coach Mike Tomlin said earlier this week, "we have seen him every day, he has been a part of us, and he has been in the building. He is up to speed on what we are doing from a schematic standpoint and really in tune there." We are sure that DeAngelo will still be apart of the offense but just a much lighter workload. The Steelers seem perfectly content with Bell once again being the bell-cow. Bell immediately becomes a top-three option at running back.

Jimmy Garoppolo Headshot

Jimmy Garoppolo is still in pain and does not have full mobility in his shoulder yet.

The report came from CSN New England's Mike Giardi that Graoppolo is "still in pain and doesn't yet have full mobility in his throwing shoulder." We had heard that Garoppolo had made steady progress throughout the week and New England was "hopeful" he'd be able to suit up in Week 4 against the Bills. The other problem is that third string quarterback Jacoby Brissett is dealing with a straining thumb. If their game was today, Brissett would likely be the one under center. Keep your eye on this situation as we get closer to Sunday.

Elfrid Payton Headshot

Elfrid Payton's practice status is day-to-day because of a strained hip flexor.

Payton strained his left hip flexor during the practice on Tuesday. He sat out the last 40 minutes. On Wednesday, head coach Frank Vogel said his practice status "day-to-day" which means Payton's timetable to return is completely up in the air. Vogel earlier this off-season said he is anticipating a "heck of a year" from the third-year point guard. If his shooting stroke has improved, Payton could have a big year in Orlando, assuming he outplays D.J. Augustin

Michael Ola Headshot

Buffalo Bills have signed OL Michael Ola off the Giants' practice squad.

The Bills are continuing to add depth to the offensive line and Ola will hopefully fill that void. Ola was solid for the Lions last season so he has playing time experience and will look to make a good enough impression to stay with the Bills for the remainder of the year.

Dez Bryant Headshot

Dez Bryant says the results of his MRI will be available on Wednesday.

The Cowboys continue to downplay the injury, but the MRI will tell the story. For now, fantasy owners should wait for the results and see how much the receiver practices over the next few days. If Bryant does not play, Cole Beasley should receive a huge boost in the passing game.
