Francisco Lindor went 1-for-3 with a home run (4), two RBI and one run scored during Friday’s game against the Orioles.

It seems like every time out, Lindor is doing something big to help his team win. He’s really been incredible with the bat since being called up last season but especially this year as his average heads into Saturday’s game sitting at .319. Lindor’s ability to hit for power, average and steal bases makes him one of the most valuable shortstops in fantasy there are.

Mike Napoli went 1-for-3 with a home run (9), an RBI, one run scored and one walk during Friday’s game against the Orioles.

Napoli has been a great addition to the middle of the Indians lineup this year. Although his average is in the .230’s, he’s hitting for power and is on pace for 30-plus home runs this season. Napoli’s only fantasy value comes in leagues that an extremely heavy emphasis on home runs.

Trevor Bauer allowed three runs on nine hits while walking two and striking out four over six innings during Friday’s outing against the Orioles.

Although there was plenty of traffic on base while Bauer was on the hill, he was able to limit the damage to three runs and register a quality start. Bauer pitched well enough to win but his bullpen blew the game for him. Bauer didn’t start the year in the rotation but due to injuries has found his way back to his old stomping grounds. He’ll likely be the one falling out of the rotation once Carlos Carrasco returns from injury ending any fantasy hopes and dreams you may have had for Bauer.

Zach Britton notched his 13th save during Friday’s game against the Indians.

It took Britton just eight pitches to mow down the Indians in order to pick up his 13th save in 13 chances. Britton continued his streak of eight straight games in which he’s recorded two or more groundball outs. What’s incredible about the way he gets his outs is the amount of strikeouts he still manages to record (24 K’s in 20 IP). Britton is a top-five fantasy reliever.

Mike Wright allowed three runs on six hits while walking two and striking out four over 4.2 innings during Friday’s game against the Indians.

Wright was average on Friday but couldn’t get out of the fifth inning. He continues to walk too many batters as he’s walked two or more in four straight outings. Wright doesn’t get deep into games, doesn’t strike people out and has erratic control. In other words he’s not very valuable in fantasy.

Manny Machado went 4-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored during Friday’s game against the Indians.

After hitting 35 homers and stealing 25 bases last year, it’s kind of crazy to think Machado is better than he was a year ago but here we are. Machado continues to rake and rack up extra-base hits as he’s up to 32 on the year. He’s second in baseball with 19 doubles, which puts him on pace to hit 67. Machado has turned into one of the five most valuable players in all of the game, despite the fact he isn’t stealing bases this season.

Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a home run (15), two RBI, one run scored and one walk during Friday’s game against the Indians.

Bomb after bomb after bomb. It feels like Trumbo is hitting a home run every night he takes the field. When he was brought over it was originally speculated he could hit close to 30 homers and he’s already half way there after two months of the season. Trumbo’s also eligible at multiple positions which makes him someone you should do all you can to own in your respective leagues.

David Wright went 1-for-4 with a home run (7), one RBI and one run scored during Friday’s game against the Dodgers.

Wright is in the midst of an awful season but one positive is the power stroke he’s shown. After hitting his seventh of the year on Friday, he’s on pace to hit north of 20 homers for the first time since the 2012 season. Other than the home runs and a decent on-base percentage, Wright’s doing nothing to warrant any fantasy attention.

Jacob deGrom allowed one run on three hits while walking three and striking out seven over seven innings during Friday’s outing against the Dodgers.

deGrom had a fantastic outing on Friday despite walking three and showing a lack of control. He had been struggling just a bit over his last few starts but hasn’t had that blowup start and has been able to limit the damage against him all season long. deGrom has 14 strikeouts over his last two outings and is showing why he was taken so early in so many fantasy drafts.

Todd Frazier went 1-for-3 with a home run (15) on Friday night against the Royals.

The home run tied him for the lead on the season with 15, however his .235 average remains a disappointment. It is a crapshoot on whether or not his average will recover, however his raw power indicates that he will continue to slug at a high clip. Continue to expect him to contend for the home run crown going forward.
