Jordy Nelson Headshot

Jordy Nelson, Jared Cook, Sam Barrington, T.J. Lang, Corey Linsley and Ty Montgomery will all start training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Green Bay sent six of their players to the PUP list with the biggest name being Jordy Nelson. Nelson missed all of last year after tearing his ACL and will continue to rehab it back to full strength. Nelson should be ready for the Packers opener at 100-percent. Nelson is a big fantasy wild card this year because we're not exactly sure how he'll perform after a year layoff. We should project him as a top-15 wideout heading into the season.

Domingo Santana Headshot

Domingo Santana has been shut down after suffering a setback.

Santana has already been out since early June and now will continue to miss time now that he had this setback. Santana could be shut down for the remainder of the season with this elbow injury. We'll just have to wait and see how the tests go.

Prince Fielder Headshot

Prince Fielder is out for the remainder of the season. He will have another surgery to repair a herniated disc.

Fielder's dreadful season has officially come to a close now that he'll have a second surgery that will cost him months of time. Fielder hit just .214 with eight home runs and 44 RBI this year. The worst part of it all for the Rangers is the amount of money he's still owed. Who knows if he'll ever be able to return to form, but we won't find out until at least 2017.

Mookie Betts Headshot

Mookie Betts has returned to the starting lineup Monday.

After missing the teams last two games due to a knee injury, Betts has returned on Monday. Betts is having an MVP caliber season as he's hitting .307 with 20 home runs and 16 stolen bases. Betts will assume his normal position in the leadoff spot while starting in right field.

Craig Kimbrel Headshot

Craig Kimbrel threw a 25 pitch bullpen session Monday with no reported problems.

Kimbrel's knee seems to be feeling just fine as his 25-pitch bullpen went well and had no reported problems after it. Kimbrel was originally given a three-to-six week timetable to return. He'll likely go on a rehab assignment very soon before returning to the Red Sox.

Andres Blanco Headshot

Andres Blanco will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a fractured left index finger. He'll be out about 6 weeks.

The 32-year old utility man had been a solid player for the Phillies before his injury. He hit .271 with four homers before the injury and had appeared at four different infield positions this season alone.
