Zack Godley is a top candidate to start Tuesday for the Diamondbacks.

Godley has appeared for the Diamondbacks in both of the last two seasons, but neither season has been stayed around for a long time. The 26-year old has pitched in five games this year, posting a 4.31 ERA over 10.1 innings.

Manager Chip Hale says Zack Greinke is feeling better Friday but no decision has been made regarding the disabled list. He will not make his next scheduled start.

Archie Bradley has already been moved up to start in Greinke's place on Monday. It could just be a tweak of the oblique, in which case he won't miss much time at all. That said, the all-star break is coming up very soon and it would be smart to rest him until after the weekend.

Yu Darvish is scheduled to make a rehab start for Double-A Frisco at Northwest Arkansas on Monday. He is expected to throw 3 innings and around 45 pitches.

As Darvish begins his second rehab stint of the year, his path back to the majors will likely be similar to the first. He'll make three or four rehab starts before returning to the majors to rejoin the Rangers lineup. The Rangers are the best team in the American League right now and will only improve with Darvish's services.

Archie Bradley will start Monday for the Diamondbacks.

With Greinke day-to-day and no timetable on if he'll start a game anytime soon, Archie Bradley's been moved up in the rotation. The young right-hander has been decent this year as he struck out 53 batters in 52 innings. Bradley needs to show more consistency to be recognized as a player who should be owned in all formats.

Jung-Ho Kang is not in the Pirates lineup Friday.

Kang is in the midst of an awful slump and will sit for the third time in six games on Friday. Just over his last seven days he's 2-for-13 which is good for a .154 average.David Freese is in the lineup and playing third base.

Khris Davis (shoulder) is back in the Athletics lineup Friday.

After missing Wednesday and Thursday's games, Davis has returned to the Oakland lineup. It's perfect timing as he gets to face left-handed pitcher Jeff Locke, who he has plenty of experience against. He's only 4-for-23 against Locke in his career but that's more at-bats against him than the rest of Oakland's lineup combined.
