Allen Hurns Headshot

Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

Hurns was held out of the Jaguars last game due to injury, and his absence from practice today is a bad sign for his availability for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Even when active, Hurns has been less-than-stellar for the Jaguars as of late, catching just four passes in his last four games. At this point, Hurns will almost certainly considered to be a game-time decision for Sunday, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't play at all.

Dustin McGowan Headshot

Marlins re-signed Dustin McGowan to a one-year deal.

The Marlins re-signed the 34-year-old reliever, who appeared in 55 games for them last season while registering a stellar 2.82 ERA. McGowan posted a solid 1.22 WHIP in 67 innings pitched in 2016, and he will likely be one of the better pitchers in the Marlins bullpen.

Chris Ivory Headshot

Chris Ivory (hamstring) was limited on Wednesday.

Ivory missed the Jaguars last game due to a hamstring injury but he was able to practice on a limited basis today, which means he's heading in the right direction for Sunday's game against the Vikings. His participation should be monitored in the coming days but if he's able to practice fully at least once or twice, he should play. The Vikings have one of the better run defenses in the league, so Ivory and the Jaguars backfield will have their work cut out for them on Sunday.

Matt Holliday Headshot

Yankees officially signed Matt Holliday to a one-year deal.

The 36-year-old Holliday agreed to a one-year deal with the Yankees after a 2016 season that saw him hit .246 with 20 home runs and a .783 OPS. Holliday is no longer the player that he was in the mid-2000s but he could fare well in the hitter-friendly confines of Yankee Stadium.

Justin Forsett Headshot

Justin Forsett is expected to share the workload at running back in Week 14.

Forsett, who is now on his third team this season, will enter the Broncos backfield next week and will share carries with Devontae Booker moving forward. Booker has been ineffective in his last five games for the Broncos, carrying the ball 95 times for just 266 yards. At this point it's hard to tell how Forsett will fare in the Broncos backfield but he is worth a speculative add in fantasy leagues just in case he does break out.

Donatas Motiejunas Headshot

Donatas Motiejunas has refused to report to the Rockets over a $6 million dollar difference in incentives.

Motiejunas played each of his first four seasons with the Rockets and is a restricted free agent but he doesn't want to return to Houston even though they matched an offer sheet given to him by the Nets. At this point, the Rockets can either keep waiting and hoping that Motiejunas comes around or cancel the offer sheet that they just matched but either way this situation doesn't seem like it will be resolved anytime soon. The 26-year-old played in just 37 games last season due to a back injury, averaging 6.2 points in just over 14 minutes played per game.

Aaron Rodgers Headshot

Aaron Rodgers (hamstring) will be limited on Wednesday.

Rodgers has been bothered by a hamstring injury for the last couple of weeks, and as a result, he will be limited in practice today. The Packers seem to be content to rest Rodgers a bit in practice in order for him to heal up fully, which isn't a bad idea. The two-time All-Pro played with the injury last week and looked fine, completing two-thirds of his passes and throwing for 209 yards and two scores.

Kent Bazemore Headshot

Kent Bazemore had an MRI which showed no structural damage in his knee.

Bazemore suffered a knee injury earlier this week and had an MRI as a precaution but the MRI revealed no structural damage in his knee. Bazemore is expected to miss the next two games, including tonight's game, due to knee soreness but he will be available to play after that. The 27-year-old has been a key piece for the Hawks this season, starting 22 games and averaging 10.7 points in 27 minutes played per game.

Trevor Siemian Headshot

Trevor Siemian (foot) was limited on Wednesday.

Siemian is still making his way back from a sprained left foot but he was able to practice on Wednesday on a limited basis, which is a good sign for his availability against the Titans on Sunday. Siemian is coming off of his best game as a starting quarterback when he threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns against the Chiefs, and he has a very favorable matchup against a Titans defense that allows opposing quarterbacks to put up an average of 20.63 fantasy points per game. If Siemian can't go, Paxton Lynch would make another start but Lynch being under center hurts the fantasy value of the rest of the Denver offense.
