Larry Nance Headshot

Lakers forward Larry Nance will be available off the bench for Monday's contest but he is unsure if he will play.

Nance missed the team's last game with a knee injury but he is available to play in tonight's contest against the Jazz. Is he going to play? Head coach Luke Walton isn't sure about that, but if he does, it will not be a significant workload whatsoever. He was a risky play in DFS, so hopefully you avoided him tonight.

Andrew Bogut Headshot

Update: Andrew Bogut has been ruled out for the remainder of the game after suffering a right knee injury.

Bogut's knees have always been a problem and what do you know, his right knee flared up again tonight. It's been a brutal year for Dallas and things just continue to get worse. Consider Bogut day-to-day for the time being.

Tony Parker Headshot

Trainers are looking at Tony Parker after he hobbled to the bench.

It's been a trying year for Parker to say the least. Something is bothering him right now and he hasn't quite looked right all season long. Patty Mills will benefit the most during Parker's absence. Consider him questionable to return.

Chris Sale Headshot

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports the Nationals and White Sox are nearing a deal that would send Chris Sale to the Nationals for prospects featuring Lucas Giolito and Victor Robles.

The Nationals are in the win-now mindset and adding Chris Sale to an already impressive rotation immediately boosts their playoff hopes. Sale went 17-10 last year with a 3.34 ERA and 1.04 WHIP, pitching for an unimpressive Chicago lineup. He's a dominant left-hander and a move to the National League, in theory, improves his fantasy value tenfold. Not to mention that Washington's offense is better than Chicago's. Also, if Washington were to go out and acquire Andrew McCutchen, Sale would pitch for an offense featuring McCutchen, Daniel Murphy, Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon and Trea Turner. Losing pitcher Lucas Giolito and Victor Robles would hurt long-term, but it's hard to argue with the fact of acquiring one of the most dominant southpaws in the game.

Andrew Bogut Headshot

Andrew Bogut is limping back to the locker room after suffering an apparent right knee injury.

With the trade speculation swirling around him at the moment, this is not something that Bogut really wanted to happen. In any event, he will be evaluated in the locker room, and may even be held out for the rest of the game for precautionary reasons. It's never smart to mess with a big man and gimpy knees.

Andrew Bogut Headshot

According to a report the Dallas Maverick have no immediate intention of trading center Andrew Bogut however if the team falls out of contention he could be moved by the trade deadline.

Rumor has it that the Mavs could even get a first round pick out of the newly signed center, however they want to give their team until the deadline to prove that they are actually out of it before they trade one of their big offseason acquisitions.

J.R. Smith Headshot

Update: J.R. Smith will not return to Monday's game.

The injury looked like a classic hyperextension of the knee. As of now, it is unclear the severity of the situation... He will be given tests in the locker room and will not return for precautionary reasons.

Derrick Favors Headshot

Derrick Favors (knee) will not play on Monday.

Favors has been out for quite a while, so this news shouldn't be considered much of any at all. Continue to expect Trey Lyles, Rudy Gobert, and Boris Diaw to remain the front court pieces that benefit from his absence.

Jeremy Maclin Headshot

Jeremy Maclin (groin) was a limited on Monday.

This Chiefs offense just didn't seem to have Maclin in their plans even when he was healthy, so if he somehow turns things around and plays this week, I don't expect him to suddenly turn around his fantasy production as well. In any case, it doesn't appear that he is healing up as planned, so fantasy owners can just punt on him for the rest of the way.
