We were all waiting for the Bears to make this official and here it is. Hoyer broke his arm last Thursday against the Packers and there was no way he was going to play again this season. It was a tough "break" for Hoyer who won the starting job in Chicago, even if and when Jay Cutler was ever going to be cleared to play. Well, sure enough, Cutler has been cleared to play so he'll take over the reigns for the Bears going forward.
We last saw Farmer playing for the Grizzlies out of necessity last season as once again he'll likely start this year as a free agent. Albeit it was only a 12 game sample size, but Farmar looked pretty solid as the team's backup point-guard and shot nearly 36-percent from the three-point arc.
