Another week without a "huge" prospect call up, but we did get some players that may contribute. On the pitching side, St.Louis brought up John Gast, the Yankees called on one time elite prospect Dellin Betances and Tampa bypassed (for now) a pair of stud starting pitching prospects for Alex Torres. As for hitting, Detroit is giving power hitting Avisail Garcia a look, while the Yankees tabbed David Adams as the Chris Nelson experiment was short lived. More quality help awaits on the farm and we continue to take a look at the possibilities both in the field and on the mound, across each division. We continue with a look at "Who's Next", with the American League's Central Division.

Chicago White Sox
Jared Mitchell OF- Mitchell has taken a step back after struggling in Triple-A. The 24 year old left handed hitting outfielder hit only .132 in 53 at bats at Charlotte and was demoted to Double-A Birmingham. An oblique injury may be contributing to his struggles, following a decent showing in spring training.
Jhan Martinez P- Acquired from the Miami Marlins in the trade for Manager Ozzie Guillen, Martinez was called up briefly twice last season. Currently at Triple-A Charlotte, Martinez has appeared in 13 games, with a 1-2 record and one save. An ERA of 6.50 and WHIP of 1.50 obviously needs some work.
Giovanny Urshela 3B- With Lonnie Chisenhall demoted again, the Tribe continue to search for a third baseman. Currently at Double-A Akron, Urshela is hitting .296 with a pair of home runs and a dozen RBI. Urshela hit 14 bombs last season in the Carolina league and is slowly climbing towards the majors.
Trevor Bauer P- The Indians have already called up Bauer three times for spot starts, each time sending him back down to Triple-A Columbus. The only thing standing in the way of a regular spot in the rotation for Bauer is control. Bauer's last outing against the Yankees was his best yet, with only a pair of walks.
Nick Castellanos OF- Castellanos is obviously blocked at third base, so he is learning to play the outfield. Currently at Triple-A Toledo, Castellanos is hitting .259 with four home runs and 20 RBI in 43 games. The 6'4" Castellanos is a big time prospect and needs to be grabbed immediately when he gets the call.
Bruce Rondon RP- Rondon was handed the closer's job in the spring, wasn't ready and began the season in the minors. Rondon got the call late last month, but was again sent down after just three appearances. Rondon is dominating at Toledo, with eight saves and yet to allow a run.
Kansas City Royals
Christian Colon 2B/SS- The fourth overall pick in the 2010 MLB draft, Colon will soon be holding down one of the middle infield spots for the Royals. Last season ended prematurely when Colon was hit in the face by a foul ball. At Triple-A Omaha, Colon is hitting .235 with three home runs, 13 RBI and three steals.
Kyle Zimmer P- The fifth pick overall in last year's MLB draft, Zimmer was sidelined with a "minor" elbow procedure last summer. The University of San Francisco product is pitching at Wilmington in Single-A. Over eight starts, Zimmer is 0-3 with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. 48 K's in 37 innings in a good sign.
Miguel Sano 3B- The Twins have already taped prospects Oswaldo Arcia and Aaron Hicks who are playing regularly in the Minnesota outfield. Top prospect Miguel Sano is currently at Single-A Fort Myers. Over 138 at bats, Sano has 11 home runs, 32 RBI and five steals while hitting a blistering .362.
Kyle Gibson P- Despite struggling in spring training, Gibson is said to be close to getting the call in Minnesota. At Triple-A Rochester, Gibson has made eight starts, stands at 2-5 with a 3.91 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. Gibson has a more than 3-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio over 44 innings of work.
