No super prospects got the call this week to the Majors. Miami middle infielder Derek Dietrich was summoned by the Marlins. The former second round pick was acquired from Tampa Bay for shortstop Yunel Escobar. Phillies pitching prospect Tyler Cloyd was called up for a spot start, where he tossed two-hit ball into the seventh against Arizona, but was sent back down as Philadelphia doesn't need a fifth starter for another ten days. More quality help awaits on the farm and we continue to take a look at the possibilities both in the field and on the mound, across each division. We continue with a look at "Who's Next", moving over to the American League and the Eastern Division.

Kevin Gausman P- Dylan Bundy has deservedly been getting all the hype, but his ascent has been slowed by injury. The 6'4" former LSU star nears triple digits with his fastball and supplements the heat with two breaking balls. Gausman is 1-4 at Double-A Bowie with a 3.53 ERA and 1.06 WHIP.
Xavier Avery OF- Had a brief appearance last season, getting 94 at bats with the Birds. Can play center field now and has the speed to hit leadoff. If his power develops as expected, he will make a return for good. Avery is hitting .289 at Double-A Bowie, with a home run, ten RBI and eight stolen bases.
Boston Red Sox
Allen Webster P- Was a key component of the salary dump sending Gonzalez, Beckett and Crawford to Los Angeles. 2013 is a tale of two starts. Webster was lights out against Kansas City last month on Sunday night baseball, then was rocked on Wednesday allowing eight runs in less than two innings of work.
Jackie Bradley OF- Made Opening Day roster with much fanfare. Former South Carolina star has sweet left handed stroke and brings above average all-around skill set. Bradley lasted a dozen games, due in large part to his .097 average. Bradley is hitting .302 at Triple-A Pawtucket with four RBI in 11 games.
New York Yankees
Mark Montgomery P- Closer in waiting, could be the eventual heir apparent to Mariano Rivera. Has enjoyed equal success against both left handed and right handed hitters thus far. Montgomery has 22 strikeouts in 15 Triple-A innings, with a 1.72 ERA and 1.21 WHIP. Montgomery has dominated in the minors.
Tyler Austin OF- Rumors circulated throughout March that Austin might make the Opening Day roster. Has excellent power potential, while also displaying above average speed. Austin is playing 3B at Double-A Trenton, with two home runs, 18 RBI and a stolen base. Austin is hitting .270 over 122 at bats.
Tampa Bay Rays
Chris Archer P- Made his MLB debut last season, pitching just under 30 innings. Results were a mixed bag, like most power pitchers- picked up strikeouts in bunches, but had trouble with the bases on balls. Archer is 4-1 at Triple-A Durham with a 4.06 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. Archer has 35 K's over 31 innings of work.
Wil Myers OF- The top prospect in all of the minor leagues? Myers was acquired from Kansas City for James Shields and Wade Davis. Natural hitter also has prodigious power. Plagued by a lingering foot injury, Myers is hitting .270 with four home runs and 21 RBI. When healthy, Myers will get the call.
Toronto Blue Jays
Marcus Stroman P- Former Duke All-American known best for his height... or lack of it at 5'9". Projects as a lights out closer, but that will have to wait due to supension for performance enhancing drug usage. The Jays 2012 first round pick had brief success in spring training, but now must wait out the suspension.
Kevin Pillar OF- Top talent was sent to Florida for the Jose Reyes package. Pillar has been solid at each level and projects as a base stealing threat who can help out with reliable average. Pillar is hitting .323 at Double-A New Hampshire with three home runs, 19 RBI and ten stolen bases in 14 attempts.
