While he enjoyed a breakout campaign last year and his 13 touchdowns led all tight ends, there are a number of question marks surrounding Eifert after undergoing ankle surgery in late May. His initial recovery time was listed at three months with a hope/expectation of an August return, but recent reports say that he could, in fact, miss the first few games of the regular season. There's no doubt that a healthy Eifert could be a red zone force once again, but you're going to have to discount his price on draft day if he does miss the expected time.
