Francisco Lindor won’t be rushed to the big leagues this year, according to manager Terry Francona.
Lindor is rated the fourth-best prospect in all of baseball and the team isn't going to rush him along. He will begin the year in Triple-A but there is no doubting that he is the future at shortstop for the Indians. Last season between Double A-Akron and Triple-A Colombus, he hit .276 with 11 home runs, 62 RBIs and 28 stolen bases in 126 games. There is some great fantasy potential here, but it doesn't seem like fantasy owners will get to delve into that this year.
