Rays have signed RHP Ronald Belisario to a minor-league deal.

Belisario had a deal in place with the Blue Jays which recently fell through, though he didn't waste any time in finding a new team. The 32-year old has some pretty cool goggles, but that was the only "cool" thing about his 2014 performance. He had a 5.56 ERA with the White Sox, though there IS hope, thanks to a 3.69 xFIP, and an average 3.26 ERA in 2012 and 2013 combined. Belisario racked up a total of eight saves last season in a desolate White Sox bullpen, and should end up seeing some innings in the Rays bullpen in 2015. That being said, his plummeting K/9 and less-than-desirable ratios are making him an option to steer clear from in fantasy. He's also about 15 guys away from a sniff at the closer role, so expectations can be set pretty low for the reliever. There's a chance he could rebound and provide value to the Rays, but it won't be enough for fantasy owners to consider him.
