Harvey very nearly had yesterday's start skipped by the Mets but he seemingly convinced him he could take the mound which turned out to be another disastrous outing. Seeing as Harvey is not giving them any chance to win while pitching it would seem to be in the clubs best interest to place him on the disabled list and let him work things out. Harvey is 3-7 with a 6.08 ERA on the season which ranks among the worst in baseball for starters.
The Jets have the franchise tag on Wilkerson but he is not happy to be without a longer term extension with the club and is likely why he is not showing up for OTA's. Wilkerson finished 2015 with 64 tackles, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Coleman was taken with the 15th overall pick by the Browns and seeing as he ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at his Pro Day it would make sense that the Browns would look to utilize that speed in their return game.
There are no reports that Jackson and the Redskins are at odds and Washington expects Jackson to show up to OTA's eventually. Jackson finished 2015 with just 30 catches for 528 yards and four touchdowns as injuries limited him to 10 games.
Wright will bat second for the Mets on Wednesday against Nationals starter Tanner Roark who he is just 2-for-9 against in his career.
Plawecki will get the day off in favor of Rene Rivera on Wednesday. Rivera has some decent power and is 3-for-8 lifetime against Tanner Roark.
Andres Blanco will be getting the rare start at second base for the Phillies with Hernandez getting the day off. Blanco becomes an intriguing DFS play given that he typically is minimum priced and finds himself with a good match-up as he is hitting .295 with an OPS of .877 against righties this season.
Steven Moya will get another start with Upton out of the lineup and bat sixth in the lineup. Moya is hitting .276 on the season with two RBI in limited playing time since being called up from Triple-A but he offers tremendous power upside.
Kinsler did not play on Tuesday due to illness and that same illness will now cost him a second game. Cameron Maybin hit leadoff with Kinsler out of the lineup and that is a trend that will continue on Wednesday. Mike Aviles will start at second base and hit eighth for the Tigers.
Myers was not in Tuesday's lineup but told reporters it was not due to an injury but that he did feel tightness in his forearm on Monday. With him missing yet another game presumably because of his forearm fantasy owners may begin to worry a little bit more here. Brett Wallace will likely start again at first base in his place.
