We are rapidly approaching the All-Star break as the NBA season passes the midway point.. We continue our swing through the Association, checking in on each Division. Who is having a break out season? What rookies are fantasy worthy? Who may be on the block and possibly moved by the trade deadline? We continue with the Central Division.
As we wrap up the early returns around the Association, we take a look at point guards. The elite point guards provide scoring, assists and steals, while the rest contribute in just two or even only one of the categories. Obviously its important to grab your point guards during the draft or auction as the chances of grabbing a "great" one during the season through free agency or waivers is doubtful. The best chance to improve your lot mid-season is to find emerging rookies or players getting increased playing time due to injury. From time to time a point may move to two guard, opening up a spot for some new talent.
As we play out the final weeks of the 2011-'12 NBA season, we take a look at each franchise. Who emerged, what went wrong, what lies ahead. A look at post season chances, long term potential and upgrades possible in this summer's NBA draft. We continue in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference with the Atlanta Hawks.
Time to take a trip across the Association in search of help for your fantasy roster. The regular season finale is right around the corner and time is running out to make a push. We will take a look at each position, providing a suggested list of players available through free agency or waivers that are available in more than 50% of Flea Flicker leagues. We begin with the point guard crop.
