C.J. Anderson Headshot

C.J. Anderson (knee) will undergo an exam on Wednesday to determine extent of injury.

Anderson came out of the game on Monday night due to a knee injury but was able to return to game action but it appears as though his knee injury could be more serious than initially thought. Anderson is getting a second opinion on his knee and he's getting an exam done that will tell us the extent of his injury. Hopefully everything will turn out well for him in his exam but if he's going to miss significant time Devontae Booker is a must-add in all fantasy formats.

Matt Jones Headshot

Update: Matt Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

Jones missed practice due to a knee injury and we should know more about the status of his injury after practice. He has not been on the injury report at all in the last week or so, so his absence from practice is a bit weird. Jones is coming off of a rough game against the Lions where he carried the ball 10 times for just 27 yards. The second-year running back has also been prone to fumbles in his short NFL career as he's fumbled eight times since coming into the league.

Jordan Reed Headshot

Jordan Reed (concussion) is expected to travel with the Redskins to London for Week 8.

Reed was able to practice for the Redskins today and wasn't in a non-contact jersey, so it makes sense that he'd travel with the team to London. If Reed is able to make it through the team's practices over the next couple of days without a setback, he should be able to play on Sunday. Reed also has a great matchup this week against a Bengals team that was decimated by Rob Gronkowski two weeks ago, so if he's able to play he makes for a nice DFS option in the early slate.

Julius Thomas Headshot

Julius Thomas (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Thomas is currently being plagued by an ankle injury and it appears as though he will be a game-time decision for the Jaguar's game tomorrow. Thomas has struggled to be fantasy relevant for the Jags so far in 2016 as he's never caught more than five passes in a game and has gone over 30 receiving yards in a game just twice so far. He isn't on my radar for fantasy purposes this week.

Tajae Sharpe Headshot

Tajae Sharpe (knee) remained limited at Wednesday's practice.

Sharpe practiced on a limited basis today but with a short turnaround before tomorrow night's game against the Jaguars, Sharpe is considered to be questionable for the game. The fifth-round draft pick is currently battling a sprained knee and will most likely be a game-time decision. After a bountiful Week 1 where he was targeted 11 times and caught seven passes, Sharpe has been disappointing for fantasy owners as he's tallied just 15 catches in the six games since.

Delanie Walker Headshot

Delanie Walker (chest) practiced in full on Wednesday.

After leaving the Titans Week 7 loss early due to a bruised chest, the talented pass catcher was able to return to practice in a full capacity today. His status looks good for the Titans tilt against the Jaguars tomorrow but he does draw a tough matchup against a Jaguars defense that has allowed opposing tight ends to score more than nine fantasy points just three times this season. Despite the rough matchup, Walker is a player worth putting in your lineups this week due to his significant role in the Tennessee offense. Walker caught seven balls for 84 yards and a touchdown last week against the Colts.

Eric Ebron Headshot

Eric Ebron returned to Lions practice on Wednesday.

Ebron has been dealing with knee and ankle injuries that have kept him off the field since Week 4 but he was able to return to Lions practice earlier today. The former No. 10 overall pick caught 18 passed for 210 yards and a touchdown before succumbing to injury but he's set to face off against a Texans defense that has been brutal against opposing tight ends, allowing just 2.7 fantasy points per game on average.

Theo Riddick Headshot

Theo Riddick (ankle) returned to Lions practice on Wednesday.

Riddick returned to practice today after sitting out two games due to an ankle injury. The pass-catching running back will most likely be listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 8 but if he's able to practice on Thursday and Friday he should be able to suit up against the Texans on Sunday. The Texans are giving up over 16 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, so Riddick draws a fantastic matchup in what should be his first game back. The former Notre Dame player is a fantastic option in PPR leagues and in daily fantasy if he's healthy moving forward.

Devonta Freeman Headshot

Devonta Freeman was seen wearing a non-contact jersey at Wednesday's practice.

Freeman was donning the non-contact jersey due to an undisclosed injury but he was spotted at practice which is a good sign. We should know more about the reason why he was wearing a non-contact jersey at some point in the next day or so. At any rate, Freeman could be a fantastic play this weekend if he's fully healthy seeing that Tevin Coleman could miss time due to a hamstring injury.
