Pacers will not re-sign Solomon Hill.

Hill has spent his first three NBA seasons with the Pacers after the team selected him with the 23rd pick of the 2013 draft. The 25-year-old forward started 78 games for the Pacers in 2014-15, but was relegated to mostly a reserve role this season.

Aledmys Diaz is not in the Cardinals lineup on Thursday.

Diaz blistered the baseball throughout the month of April, but has slowed a bit here in the first week of May. He did pop his fifth homer of the season Monday, but he has gone just 2-for-13 with four strikeouts overall during the last four games. Ruben Tejada will start at shortstop for the Cardinals and bat eighth.

Seahawks 2nd-round pick DT Jarran Reed agreed to terms on a contract.

The Seahawks traded up in the second round of the draft to grab Reed at No. 49 overall. The 300-plus-pound defensive lineman is widely expected to win the starting nose tackle spot in Seattle this summer.

John Wall underwent minor knee surgery and is expected to be ready for the start of next season.

Wall sat out the last five games of the regular season due to knee issue and has now gone through the surgery he needed. The All-Star point guard put up sensational numbers in 2015-16, averaging 19.9 points, 10.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals across 77 games.

Matt Holliday is not in Thursday's starting lineup.

Pacers have fired head coach Frank Vogel.

Originally hired in the middle of the 2010-11 season, Vogel ultimately put together a successful tenure as the Pacers' head coach. He guided the team to five playoff appearances in six years, advancing as far as the Eastern Conference Finals on two occasions. Vogel will turn 43 years old in June and should still have plenty of coaching years ahead of him.

Ryan Howard is not in Thursday's starting lineup.

With a left-hander in Jaime Garcia starting on the mound for the Cardinals, Howard will begin the game on the bench and Darin Ruf will start at first base and bat cleanup for the Phillies. Ruf is minimum salary across the DFS landscape and with Garcia struggling against right-handed hitters, he could be a salary relief option, but there are better options that provide more upside.

Maikel Franco is not in Thursday's starting lineup.

Franco is scuffling to start the month of May as he has only collected one hit in 13 at-bats which has dropped his average to .243. The young power hitter has hit five homeruns this season, but hasn’t gone yard since April 23. Franco will start the game on the bench with Andres Blanco starting at third and batting third. Jaime Garcia starts for the Cardinals on Thursday and struggles against right-handed hitters and with a minimum salary across the DFS industry, he could be used as a salary relief option.

Cowboys said Kellen Moore remains the backup quarterback.

Moore will remain the backup for the time being, but the Cowboys drafted Dak Prescott in the fourth round to eventually become Tony Romo’s backup and to possibly become the replacement for Romo when he decides to walk away. Prescott is an intriguing target in dynasty leagues due to his potential. Moore can be avoided in all formats with the return of Romo.
