Freeman was never in danger of missing Week 4 for the Falcons as they face off in a big divisional game against Carolina. He'll continue to rotate with Tevin Coleman in the backfield, making them both RB2's at best in what should be a physical game.
This provides Jennings a glimmer of hope to play this Sunday as the veteran running back hasn't participated much this week. He's still listed as questionable, meaning there's a 50/50 chance he plays. Orleans Darkwa will draw the start if Jennings is inactive.
Buffalo will already be without Sammy Watkins in Week 4 and they'll be even thinner at WR with Salas forced to miss his second straight game. Buffalo's offense will go through LeSean McCoy, Charles Clay, and Robert Woods this week against New England.
Gordon entered rehab this week, continuing an already troubled off the field career. Talent has never been the issue with Gordon and at this point, the most important thing is getting his life together. His future as an NFL player is in serious doubt.
Watkins will miss his second straight game after having his surgically repaired foot stepped on during a walkthrough. If the Bills are to knock off the Patriots this week, it will be a heavy dose of LeSean McCoy and Charles Clay. There's no timetable for Watkins return.
Stanley played last week with a foot injury, after being listed as questionable. The fact that he's missed three straight days of practice does not bode well for his availability this Sunday. He played every snap last week so he's shown he can play through it but so far, it doesn't look good for the offensive lineman.
Lewis left Baltimore's Week 3 game with a concussion and has been through the league's concussion protocol. Lewis has done well in pass protection but is not getting it done in run blocking. He is likely to be listed as questionable heading into the weekend.
Quite the saga out of Dallas with Bryant going AWOL this week after skipping out on an MRI, but he received good news from Dr. James Andrews. The stud wide receiver is expected to miss Week 4 but there's some hope that Bryant will return for Week 5.
Johnson strained his quad yesterday during practice and has missed Friday's session. It could be precautionary but its possible this could keep him out of Week 4 action for the Panthers. He should be considered day-to-day until an official designation has been made.
