Some leagues are already in the playoffs, many others are winding down the last three weeks of regular season towards that end. If you are playing fantasy basketball, you are well aware of the barrage of injuries that have peaked this past week in the Association. I have personally seen a comfortable margin in first place turn into a nightmare situation of trying to salvage even a playoff spot. I have no fewer that seven players that are either missing games, or are a threat to miss several. What makes things worst is the injuries are more of the day to day variety, so disabling the players are not an option. Lets take a look at the walking wounded.

No, this isn't the roster from the All-Star game.... well, maybe it is, but it's also a growing list of NBA stars with nagging injuries that are killing fantasy owners in the process.
Kevin Love Minnesota- Hurt his hand, came back- hurt it again. Was supposed to be back already, then done for season, now nobody knows.
Nikola Pekovic Minnesota- Pek had a career night in the big win over Oklahoma City, then he disappears again, supposedly with a sprained ankle.
LeMarcus Aldridge Portland- Out with ankle injury, missed a game, now not with team on two game road trip. More painful to owners I am sure.
Al Horford Atlanta- An undisclosed illness has cost Horford owners two games now. Certainly enough to cost points in the standings at season's end.
Joakim Noah Chicago- Continues to be sidelined with a foot injury. Seemed OK in the crowd during Florida-FGC game when talking to Craig Sager.
Kyrie Irving Cleveland- We are getting cryptic messages that he might return tomorrow, but his coach gives conflicting information. C'mon Uncle Drew!
James Harden Houston- The foot injury that we were told had healed, is back. This one is painful with some serious numbers lost.
Ty Lawson Denver- Has played once in almost two weeks now. Conveniently came back for one game in the middle. Plantar fascia tear and day to day?
Goran Dragic Phoenix- Missing games to rest? Really? Tanking for the lottery more like it? Kendall Marshall looks good, but just when you pick him up....
Joe Johnson New Jersey- Has heel injury and now quad concerns. Johnson has been talking about being ready for playoffs, what about now?
O.J. Mayo Dallas- His numbers have been terrible lately and now he has a shoulder harness. Won't effect his shooting right? Wrong 1-13 vs. Chicago.
Manu Ginobili San Antonio- Out again with hamstring woes. If you have been counting on him, this one is on you.
Derrick Rose Chicago- If you have him, you have given up hope long ago, right? If you haven't, the latest is Rose will play when he is "comfortable".
