Paul Pierce is reportedly still undecided on his future

We have heard that he will make a decision within the next few weeks but nothing new to report. Whether he does or does not retire, Pierce was basically a non-factor in the fantasy hoops world during the 2015-16 season. The 38-year-old veteran had career-lows in all categories averaging just 6.1 points, 2.7 boards, 1.0 assist and 1.1 triples per game.

The Braves are considering giving Tyrell Jenkins a shot in the rotation.

The Braves brought Jenkins up from Triple-A Gwinnett where he had success converting from a starter into a reliever. He owns a 7.20 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP over his five innings of work at the big league level. He was acquired by the Braves in 2014 as part of the Jason Heyward trade.

Steven Moya has returned to the Tigers starting lineup Wednesday.

Moya did not play over the weekend because of general knee soreness. Most believe that it was caused by the awkward fall on Friday night where he lost the ball in the lights but he swears that's not the cause. He returns to the lineup batting seventh and playing right field on Wednesday against the Marlins' Tom Koehler.

Magic have extended a qualifying offer to Evan Fournier.

The Magic are planning to match any offer that restricted free agent Evan Fournier receives this summer according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders. We also heard Magic GM Ryan Hennigan say that re-signing Fournier will be one of Orlando's top priorities this summer especially after he traded Victor Oladipo on draft night. Fournier averaged 15.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.0 treys last season. He should have a lot more fantasy value this season with Oladipo now in Oklahoma City.

Jarrett Jack reportedly will not return to the Nets.

The Nets still do have until June 30 to make their final decision but it looks like they are ready to move on. Jack would have been owed $6.3 million but that money was non-guaranteed. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that New Jersey has been shopping the point guard but if they don't get an offer they like, they'll waive him. Jack is now 32 years old but coming off of a very nice season but returning from a torn right ACL and meniscus is not something teams want to deal with. It is reported that he'll be ready for training camp and should generate interest around the league if he's waived. Caris LeVert and Isaiah Whitehead would be the remaining point guards in New Jersey, if Jack is released.

An MRI on Chris Young’s hamstring showed a more significant injury than first thought.

The Red Sox have been using Bryce Brentz in left field while Young has dealt with his hamstring issue. Boston is also hoping to get Brock Holt back from his concussion on Friday but don't put it past the Red Sox to hit the trade market for another outfielder. We will keep you updated on Young's status as more information comes available.

Reds recalled RHP Keyvius Sampson from Triple-A Louisville.

JJ Hoover's ERA is now 13.50 for the season and the Reds had no choice but to send him away. Sampson has made four appearances with the Reds this season and has produced a nice 2.06 ERA and 58/19 K/BB ratio over 56 2/3 innings in Triple-A. He will be used in a middle relief role.

Reds optioned J.J. Hoover to Triple-A Louisville.

It has been a a real rough patch for Hoover over his last three appearances allowing 11 runs in that time. The ERA is now 13.50 for the season which is why we will see Keyvius Sampson get a shot in the Reds bullpen.

Oswaldo Arcia was scratched Wednesday due to an illness.

We can assume that he is day-to-day at this point. Nick Franklin will play left field and slide into the sixth spot in the lineup. The Rays will move Brandon Guyer over to right field.
