Wilson Ramos is not in the Nationals lineup on Sunday.

Ramos has played in nine out of the last 10 games for the Nationals, so it's little surprise that he's going to be rested when Washington faces off against Jimmy Nelson on Sunday. The 28-year-old catcher has been a godsend for Washington this year, as he's hitting .341 (which is second best in the National League behind teammate Daniel Murphy) with 12 home runs and 41 runs batted in and an OPS of an incredible .948. Ramos has also been swinging a hot bat in his last three games, going 7-for-14 with a home run and three runs batted in. Jose Lobaton will be behind the plate and hit eighth for the Nationals on Sunday.

Matt Wieters is not in the Orioles lineup on Sunday.

Just one day removed from a two home run game, the 30-year old Wieters will get a day off when the Orioles take on the Rays at Camden Yards. Wieters has had a great month of June power-wise, hitting five home runs and driving in 20 runs batted in in just 19 games. He will surely be missed in the Orioles lineup today, but they have Francisco Pena doing the catching and hitting ninth for them on Sunday.

Byron Buxton is not in the Twins lineup on Sunday.

After playing in each of the Twins last five games, Buxton will be on the bench today when the Twins take on the Yankees. The highly touted 22-year-old has struggled to hit at the big league level in 2016, hitting .194 with one home run and nine runs batted in. Danny Santana will play centerfield and hit ninth for the Twins as they face Nathan Eovaldi today.

Trevor Plouffe has returned to the Twins lineup on Sunday.

Plouffe, who suffered a groin strain in the Twins game on Thursday, had not played in either of Minnesota's last two games. All things considered it was a pretty quick turn around when you consider that there was no real timetable given for his return. Plouffe has been bitten by the injury bug quite a bit this year, as he has only played in 52 out of the Twins 74 games in 2016. The 30-year-old corner infielder will be playing first base and hitting fifth for the Twins when they face Yankees starter Nathan Eovaldi.

Asdrubal Cabrera is not in the Mets lineup on Sunday.

After going just 2-for-14 in his last three games, the 30-year-old Cabrera will get a day off on Sunday as the Mets take on Bud Norris and the Atlanta Braves. Cabrera has played in some capacity in every game so far this year for New York, so he's certainly earned himself a day off. He's hitting just .235 with four homers and six runs batted in for the month of June. Matt Reynolds will play shortstop and hit second for the Mets today.

Jeurys Familia is unavailable out the Mets bullpen on Sunday.

After picking up four saves in the last five games, Familia is going to be rested by Mets manager Terry Collins in an effort to try and keep his arm from getting fatigued. Familia is a perfect 26-for-26 in save opportunities, but will make way for either Hansel Robles or Erik Goeddel if there is a save opportunity tonight.

Rays LHP Enny Romero said left hand was still sore and may not be available on Sunday.

Romero's pitching hand was smacked from a line drive and he is still unsurprisingly feeling the pain. X-Rays came back negative so all long term concerns are put to rest. Romero has a whopping 7.56 ERA but is actually a good pitcher on the road with just a 2.08 ERA.
