Ross continued his season of consistently solid outings on Thursday night, as he went seven innings, allowing only one run, while he struck out four. With a 2.52 ERA and a 4-4 record, Ross should continue to be an adequate fantasy starter going forward in most formats.
Patterson was diagnosed with a hand contusion in the last game but was able to return to play so this shouldn't come as a shock. It also should be mentioned that it is Game 6 and as long as you can walk you should play. Patterson has been a nice depth piece for Toronto but hasn't been the lynchpin of the Raptors offensive attack.
Hanigan is just dealing with a minor bug and it's not expected to keep him out of action very long. He will continue to see starts when Blake Swihart needs a day off.
Buchholz has been brutal this season and now owns a 6.35 ERA after Thursday's shellacking at the hands of the Rockies. He is definitely the most expendable member of Boston's rotation and if he doesn't get straightened out soon, he is likely headed to the bullpen. It's certainly possible that Buchholz could be dealing with an undisclosed injury, but there has been no chatter of that within the Red Sox organization. Rodriguez is expected to return to the majors sometime next week.
