The contract extension discussions have not proven to be too much of a distraction in camp so far. Short is coming off a season where he tied for the lead in sacks (11) amongst defensive tackles and tied for 8th overall. Tillman has a 15-5 record with a 3.76 ERA on the year. He's been one of Baltimore's more reliable pitchers this season and will be needed for their postseason push through September.
Gallik will definitely miss Tennessee's last two preseason games after undergoing successful arthroscopic knee surgery. There's no word yet on if he'll miss any regular season time.
