Joaquin Benoit Headshot

Phillies are close to signing reliever Joaquin Benoit.

He should immediately slot in as an important arm in the Phillies bullpen, although it's unclear what his exact role would be. Benoit, 39, held a strong 2.81 ERA last season while pitching for the Mariners and Blue Jays. He was notably better with the Blue Jays after being dealt, however, pitching to a 0.38 ERA over 25 games thrown. The Phillies have made some underrated moves in helping their bullpen, something they had hoped to address.

Will Tukuafu Headshot

Seahawks FB Will Tukuafu has a concussion and will not return to the game.

The Seahawks keep losing players, and Tukuafu is just another piece to go down. He'll be in the protocol all week with the hopes of getting cleared to face the Packers in Week 14.

Daryl Worley Headshot

Panthers CB Daryl Worley is going through concussion protocol.

Amazingly, this is the 8th Panthers player to enter the concussion protocol this season. At least it sounds like a lot, no? Worley has played well this season as part of the Panthers make shift defensive back corps, and was replaced Robert McClain. Hopefully he can pass through the protocol sooner rather than later.

Thomas Rawls Headshot

Thomas Rawls is back on the field and warming up for the second half.

Finally, some welcome news. Rawls departed in the first half for a potential concussion, but was able to clear the protocol and get back out their for the start of the second half. He'll look to keep rolling after a strong first half.

Earl Thomas Headshot

Update: Per report, Seahawks safety Earl Thomas suffered a broken leg during Sunday's contest.

Wow. That's a massive blow for the Seahawks defense. He couldn't put any pressure on his leg and had to be carted into the locker room for X-rays, and ultimately, this is what they've found. Thomas will be out indefinitely, and a more firm timetable will likely be given once they decide what the course of action is.

Thomas Rawls Headshot

Thomas Rawls is heading into the locker room as he is being evaluated for a concussion.

More bad news for the Seahawks. Rawls has looked amazing tonight, rushing 11 times for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hopefully he'll come back up for the second half, but if not, he'll be in the protocol until getting cleared. Troymaine Pope is the only other healthy RB the Seahawks have.

Earl Thomas Headshot

Earl Thomas was seen leaving the X-ray room on crutches.

It obviously isn't a great scenario. More will be known about Thomas's status, but for now, assume he'll miss some time.

Earl Thomas Headshot

Seahawks safety Earl Thomas has been carted off the field.

He collided in the air, and landed hard after nearly picking off Cam Newton and couldn't put much weight on his legs. He was then carted off into the locker room for X-rays. It was reported on Sunday Night Football that he's dealing with what the team has called a "lower leg injury". Stay tuned as we'll likely be updated soon.

Jason Pierre-Paul Headshot

Jason Pierre-Paul will have an MRI on his injured groin Monday.

Oh man. He recorded three tackles before leaving late in the second quarter and didn't return. It'd be a huge loss for the Giants as he's been one of the top 4-3 defensive ends in football this season, and he leads the Giants in sacks.

Charles Johnson Headshot

Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson was seen hobbling off the field after making a sack.

Johnson injured himself after sacking Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and walked off the field gingerly. His lost would be a big one for a Panthers D already playing without LB Luke Keuchly.
