Tyler Johnson (shoulder) will be fully available to play Friday against the Hornets.

Johnson has been out of action since late-January, but with the Heat suddenly facing elimination, you can bet he will do whatever it takes to get on the court. Even still, Johnson's minutes seem likely to be limited in Game 6. He was a solid player when healthy this season, averaging 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 36 games (five starts).

Drew Stubbs is starting in center field and batting eighth on Friday.

With the Braves getting set for a matchup with Cubs' lefty Jon Lester, Stubbs will draw the start in center field and bat eighth. The fleet-footed veteran is 5-for-16 opposite left-handed pitchers this season and holds a career .802 OPS against southpaws.

Freddie Freeman is batting third on Friday.

Freeman finally heated up at the dish while out of his typical third spot in the Braves' lineup over the past four games. During that stretch, the two-time All-Star went 8-for-15 with a double and a homer. Freeman will move back into the three hole Friday afternoon against Cubs' lefty Jon Lester.

Update: MRI confirms a low ankle sprain for Kris Bryant and he is expected to miss a few days. There is no exact return date yet.

A confirmation of prior prognosis. Bryant's ankle injury is being labeled a "mild sprain". Reports seem to suggest that he will miss just a few days. Javier Baez will man the hot corner and bat sixth against Braves' righty Aaron Blair on Friday afternoon. Jorge Soler will play left and bat fifth

Jorge Soler is starting in left field and batting fifth on Friday.

Soler has bounced in and out of the lineup this season, but with Kris Bryant (ankle) now out of action for at least a few days, the young outfielder should be a short-term regular. Soler carries a lackluster .185/.292/.315 slash line into play opposite Braves' right-hander Aaron Blair.

Javier Baez is starting at third base Friday and batting sixth.

Baez began the season on the DL, but has since become the beneficiary of additional at-bats due to the injury bug hitting some of his teammates. The young infielder is 8-for-26 with a homer, a double and two steals so far this season.

Ben Zobrist is batting third on Friday.

With Kris Bryant dealing with an ankle sprain, Zobrist will slide back up to the third spot in the Cubs' batting order Friday against Braves' righty Aaron Blair.

Bryant's ankle injury is being labeled a "mild sprain". Reports seem to suggest that he will miss just a few days. Javier Baez will man the hot corner and bat sixth against Braves' righty Aaron Blair on Friday afternoon. Jorge Soler will play left and bat fifth.

Wandy Rodriguez has signed a minor league contract with the Orioles.

Rodriguez pitched well this spring for the Astros -- 3.95 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 11 strikeouts over 13 2/3 innings -- but didn't make the Opening Day roster and was released. Dan Connolly of BaltimoreBaseball.com says that Rodriguez is headed to extended spring training before presumably being assigned to Triple-A Norfolk. The veteran left-hander holds a 5.34 ERA in the majors since the beginning of the 2014 season.
