Mike Muscala Headshot

Mike Muscala (ankle) will not play on Wednesday.

Muscala will miss his sixth straight game when he sits out Wednesday's contest as he deals with a sprained ankle. Muscala was playing a bench role and seeing about 20 minutes a game prior to the injury and that should continue when he gets back to 100% health. Dwight Howard will continue to be the mainstay as the starter at the center spot for Atlanta.

Joe Harris Headshot

Joe Harris (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

Harris will miss his third game in a row with the ankle injury when he sits out on Wednesday. Sean Kilpatrick will again start in his place at the two-guard spot with Chris LaVert the likely backup to Kilpatrick. Harris at this point doesn't do enough to warrant a waiver wire pickup even when he's healthy.

Rodney Hood Headshot

Update: Rodney Hood (knee) will likely be out for another 1-to-3 weeks.

Head Coach Quin Snider said last week when the knee injury first happened that it would likely be a 2-4 week recovery timeframe for Hood. The injury happened January 15th meaning we are just over a week into the specified range. Hood had been playing well up until the injury but now it will give Joe Ingles some quality minutes in the starting lineup for the next few weeks. Ingles is someone that should be grabbed from the waiver if you need some fill-in depth at this point.

Cody Zeller Headshot

Cody Zeller (quad) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

Zeller played 35 minutes in Monday's game against the Wizards before fouling out of the contest so there is a question as to when the injury occurred. He has Tuesday night to rest it up before trying to warm-up on Wednesday. If he can't go, Roy Hibbert would assume the starting role, though likely only in name only on Wednesday.

Luol Deng Headshot

Update: Luol Deng (wrist) will play on Wednesday.

As was said in the previous bulletin, Deng started the previous game after sitting out the two before that. He managed to play 19 minutes and score nine points for the Lakers. A similar type role should be expected from the wing once again on Wednesday.

Jeremy Lamb Headshot

Jeremy Lamb (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

Lamb hasn't played since January 10th and his condition has been kept pretty close to the chest. It is an encouraging sign that he is able to be deemed questionable a day before the next game, but he will likely have to ace the Wednesday shootaround in order to play. The Hornets will go with the same rotation they have been in his absence, and even when he does come back, he could find a slightly smaller role awaiting him.

Frank Kaminsky Headshot

Frank Kaminsky (broken nose) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

The nasal fracture looks to have occurred in the closing seconds of the game against the Wizards when John Wall made contact with Frank the Tank's face on a fast break. He can likely play through it as long as there are no resulting headaches or vision issues, and so long as he's fitted for a mask. With another day to let the swelling go down and get the mask worked out, he should be more on the probable than not side of the questionable tag.

Luol Deng Headshot

Luol Deng (wrist) is probable for Wednesday's game.

Dang started the previous game on Sunday after missing the prior two games with the wrist injury. He played 19 minutes and scored nine points on 4-7 from the field. So it's not surprising that he'd be probable for a game two days after he played last. Deng is only a so-so option in standard leagues given that Brandon Ingram will take more of his minutes as the season continues.

Rodney Hood Headshot

Rodney Hood (knee) will not play on Tuesday.

Last week, Hood was ruled out for at least the next two weeks, which means it shouldn't be a shock that he will miss Tuesday's game. Hood is likely to miss the rest of this week as well. Joe Ingles has been starting in his absence and that should again be the case for Tuesday's game and he has some definite value in DFS formats.
