It is the end of another week of fantasy baseball and hopefully this article finds you on the good end of another matchup. Injuries and other factors are going to play a bigger and bigger role as we head down the stretch and every week now becomes more and more important as we get closer to the fantasy playoffs. Only three or four weeks are left until we are playing against the best of the best, and you need to make the moves now to maximize your roster in order to make it the best that it can be.  Have you been holding on to that injured guy forever? Is he going to come back in time to help you?  These are the decisions that need to be made before it is too late.  We will continue to give you the news as it happens to help you win a championship here at Fantasy Alarm with Rounding The Bases.

The longer than usual opening matchups in your fantasy baseball leagues have finally come to a close and hopefully you were on the winning side.  Tonight, we continue to new format of the article where we feature some of the top performers of the night and then chronicle the news below.  I am looking for some feedback on this change whether you all think this is a good move. Tonight, we mention some guys who are playing over their heads, a superstar off to a slow start, and a young phenom coming into his own. On the pitching side there is a couple of guys under the radar and why Fernando Rodney got the save tonight.

We have our first change in closers of the 2011 season as well as some injuries that continue to pile up and some good news on that front. We have a young player being moved to the leadoff role for his team, as we also have a slugger that will miss this week's games. There is a young catcher who gets some time, as well as some young pitchers who are already making an impact, as well as a veteran who came out of the gate slowly. Check out Fantasy Alarm to see how you can get text messages or emails to your inbox whenever a player is out of your lineup. Visit our homepage for a video to see how to sign up for this invaluable tool to win your fantasy league.
