Hechavarria may be best known for his glove in the field, but this season he has shown he can rake a bit as well. Not known for his power, Hechavarria has put two out so far on the season. His .222 average leaves something to be desired but the young Cuban has shown in the past he can handle the high load of at-bats throughout a season.
Phelps has pitched well for the Marlins out of the bullpen on the year as he has made 12 appearances, recording a 1.20 ERA with a 16:7 K:BB ratio. Phelps will likely be the guy to go to in the eighth for the Marlins with a chance for a save here and there when Ramos gets the night off.
