Derek Dietrich is leading off for the Marlins on Saturday.

Dietrich, who suddenly found himself a starter with the suspension of Dee Gordon is at the top of the lineup against the Brewers on Saturday. Slashing .290/.389/.548 with one homerun and 6 RBI in 31 at-bats, he is a logical add in Gordon's absence, especially if he can keep the leadoff spot. In daily, the combination of him hitting leadoff, coupled with his bargain price tag, make him a great option.

Carson Smith pitched a perfect inning for Double-A Portland on Saturday.

Smith has yet to experience a setback in his rehab, and is expected to be activated by the Red Sox on Tuesday. He figures to settle into a set up role for Craig Kimbrel, and could notch a few saves along the way. Smith figures to be valuable in holds leagues, and even some deeper leagues with the hopes he can contribute across your pitching categories.

Diamondbacks selected the contract of LHP Zac Curtis from the Single-A Advanced.

This move corresponds with Keith Hessler being designated for assignment earlier in the day. A bit of a head scratcher that the Diamondbacks would bring up a pitcher from Single-A advanced Visalia, but Curtis has struck out 22 batters in 10.1 innings, despite his other stats not being so impressive. He should not be a consideration in fantasy circles.

Diamondbacks designated P Keith Hessler for assignment.

Hessler is going to be sent to Double-A, assuming he clears waivers. He has not exactly lit up the majors in his limited stint at the top level and the Diamondbacks are looking to keep him despite removing him form the 40-man roster.

Rajai Davis is not in the Indians starting lineup on Saturday.

It is beginning to look like Davis will be day-to-day option for the Indians. He has been hitting well but is being pressed by both Lonnie Chisenhall and Tyler Naquin as an outfield option for Cleveland.

Yan Gomes is not in the Indians starting lineup on Saturday.

His absence hurts daily players as he has been productive over the past few games. In his place, look for Roberto Perez t handle catching duties but do not rely on him to provide any fantasy value.

Jimmy Rollins is not in the White Sox starting lineup on Saturday.

Rollins is the candidate to sit out games with him age and amount of games he has played over his career. He does have a couple of steals over the past few games and is a decent source of production these days when he plays.

Garcia is dealing with a hamsting strain. The White Sox have plenty of replacements at D;Hi, including Jose Abreu, Melky Cabrera, Dioner Navarro and Jerry Sands.
