Timofey Mozgov Headshot

UPDATE: Timofey Mozgov returned to Friday's game.

Mozgov has returned and has grabbed 7 rebounds in 11 minutes of action. He should be able to assume his typical workload for the Lakers as Tarik Black heads back to the bench.

Nick Young Headshot

Nick Young is headed to the locker room with an ankle injury.

Well when it rains, it pours and that seems to be the case with the Lakers on Friday night. Luckily for Los Angeles, Timofey Mozgov has returned to action, but the Lakers have now lost Nick Young. It remains unclear if Young will return to the game, but if he doesn't Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram will handle a majority, if not all of the minutes at PF and SF respectively. Keep in mind, Luol Deng is out with a sprained wrist as well.

J.J. Barea Headshot

J.J. Barea (leg) will not return to Friday's game.

The Dallas/Utah game is currently in overtime, but unfortunately for Barea he'll be unable to return with a leg injury. Barea logged 23 minutes of action, and if the game continues for another OT period then Seth Curry will likely benefit most as he's nearing 30 minutes of action right now. There's no word on the severity of the injury or Barea's status going forward.

Timofey Mozgov Headshot

Timofey Mozgov left Friday's game with an injury.

It appears as if there's another fairly serious injury for the Lakers as Timofey Mozgov will join D'Angelo Russell in the locker room with an injury. With Mozgov out, Tarik Black wil llikely see an uptick in minutes at Center.

D'Angelo Russell Headshot

D'Angelo Russell (knee) is headed to the locker room.

Russell left the game just 70 seconds in. He fell awkwardly after experiencing what appeared to be a minimal contact injury so it could possibly be a ligament in his knee. The severity of the injury is unclear as of right now, but Jose Calderon and Jordan Clarkson should pick up a majority of the miinutes for the rest of the night if Russell is unable to return.

Ryan Anderson Headshot

Ryan Anderson (illness) has been ruled out Saturday.

Anderson left Friday's game against Golden State early with an illness. Anderson logged just 9 minutes of action before leaving the game. Montrezl Harrell will likely see a majority of minutes at PF with Anderson out so keep an eye on his DFS price for the Saturday slate.

Brandon Ingram Headshot

Brandon Ingram will start Friday against the Pacers.

Ingram will get another start at SF for the Lakers with Luol Deng out with a sprained wrist. Ingram becomes a nice DFS option considering he should see 30+ minutes of action.

Christian Wood Headshot

Christian Wood has been recalled by the Hornets.

Wood has only appeared in 1 game with the Hornets. He played just 3 minutes and grabbed 2 rebounds so it's really difficult to say he'll see significant minutes in the NBA going forward.

Anthony Davis Headshot

Anthony Davis is headed to the locker room limping on his right leg.

Davis, the ever-so-frustrating superstar to own in DFS, posted 39 points in Draft Kings in the 1st half of Friday's game, but left early with limited playing time in the 2nd half. Davis is no stranger to injuries and leaving the game early. He holds a ton of upside when he's healthy, but it's too much of a gamble to own him at this point at such a lofty price tag.. There's no word yet on his status going forward.

Joel Embiid Headshot

Joel Embiid said after Friday's game his knee is fine.

It was a bit of a scary sight as Embiid left the game when he hyper-extended his knee after landing awkwardly on a dunk. He continued to play through it, but the 76ers are taking no chances with their young superstar. Embiid finished with a double-double and Philadelphia won on a buzzer-beating shot by Robert Covington.
