Ladarius Green Headshot

Ladarius Green (concussion/illness) did not practice on Thursday.

Green was limited on Wednesday but has now downgraded to a DNP, which isn't great news at the end of the week. Green has missed most of the season due to varying injuries but the last four games including playoffs have been with the concussion. If he can't go, Jesse James will be the starter at tight end again against the Patriots.

James Harrison Headshot

James Harrison (shoulder/triceps) did not practice on Thursday.

Head Coach Mike Tomlin said the injury would limit the veteran early in the week but that it shouldn't hold him out of the AFC Championship game this weekend. By now we all have seen the early morning gym workout he did after getting home from the win over the Chiefs last weekend, so there is pretty solid evidence that he isn't hurting all that badly.

Davante Adams Headshot

Davante Adams (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

Adams isn't expected to practice until Saturday's walkthrough at this point and Head Coach Mike McCarthy said that if this were a regular season game, Adams and Jordy Nelson and Geronimo Allison would all be sitting for it. If he does wind up playing, it won't be anywhere close to 100 percent health.

Larry Nance Headshot

Update: Larry Nance (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game.

Just like that, Nance has officially been ruled out. He went through a full practice and said he feels excited about getting back on the court. Tarik Black will continue to fill in for Nance at the backup power-forward position.

Rodney Hood Headshot

Rodney Hood (knee) will travel with the team but won't play on Friday.

Hood will miss his second consecutive game due to this knee injury and will likely miss a few more along the way. Back on Monday, the Jazz said Hood would miss about two weeks of action. He'll continue to be replaced by the sharpshooting Joe Ingles at shooting-guard.

Larry Nance Headshot

Larry Nance (knee) went through a full practice on Thursday but remains questionable for Friday's game.

Nance has missed 15 straight games but has a chance at playing in Friday's game. He may have practiced fully on Thursday, but he still has to be medically cleared before Friday's game in order to play. If he does in fact return, we should expect him to be on some sort of restriction. He'll likely take away minutes from some of the Lakers front-court guys, mainly Julius Randle.

George Hill Headshot

George Hill (ankle) will play on Friday.

Hill suffered the ankle injury at the end of the Jazz's game against the Suns on Monday, but with three full days off, he's ready to rock. With Rodney Hood out this year, Hill has taken his game to the next level. Hill would be viable in all formats if he wasn't going to be in a turtle paced game against Dallas on Friday.

Luol Deng Headshot

Luol Deng (wrist) didn't practice on Thursday and remains questionable for Friday's game.

Deng has missed two of the last three games after being a late scratch on Tuesday against the Nuggets. Deng's injury has hampered him over the last month or so as he hasn't played well at all. Expect Brandon Ingram to take on a gear dose of minutes if Deng doesn't play on Friday.

Mike Fiers Headshot

Mike Fiers and the Astros have agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.45M to avoid arbitration.

2016 was kind of a down year for Fiers as he pitched to a 4.48 ERA. However, he was able to make 30 starts in back-to-back seasons showing his durability. Fiers will need to pitch better this season to make sure he gets a long-term deal following the 2017 campaign.
