Rueben Randle had gall bladder surgery and is not at OTA's Tuesday.

We're heading into year five of Randle's career and we've yet to be impressed. He's made strides, yes, but he still stops on routs leading to interceptions and gives up when he doesn't get the ball. This gall bladder issue won't be an issue for much longer and Randle will be ready to go when the Eagles open up the season.

Dion Lewis (ACL Surgery) availability for the season opener is looking promising.

Lewis came out of the woodworks last season, bursting onto the fantasy scene in a big way. We all know how much Tom Brady enjoys his pass-catching running backs and Lewis is just that. Hopefully he doesn't lose his shiftiness because of his ACL tear or Lewis won't be nearly as valuable as he was before it. Lewis is a risky fantasy draft pick with extremely high upside for the 2016-'17 season.

Alex Rodriguez will continue his rehab assignment with Double-A Trenton Tuesday.

The original plan was to activate Rodriguez for tonight's series opener against the Blue Jays but things have changed and they've decided to have the veteran rehab first. Rodriguez could use a few pick-me-up at-bats in the minors before hopping in against major league pitching once again. He still holds fantasy value because his potential to start popping them out of the ballpark.

Bengals scheduled to work out 36-year-old OLB Dwight Freeney this week.

Freeney is coming off a 2015 season in which he was able to suit up for 11 games. He was strictly in a pass rushing role for the Cardinals as he only made nine tackles but was able to accumulate eight sacks. If Freeney signs anywhere it'll likely be in the same sort of position he was in last season. If he retires, he'll end his career with 119.5 career sacks.

Christian Yelich (back) is not in the Marlins starting lineup Tuesday.

The Marlins are in no hurry to rush their young outfielder back with the way Ichiro Suzuki has played lately. Ichiro is coming off a four-hit game on Monday and has 10 hits in his previous three games. Ichiro also has had some success off of Rays' starter Jake Odorizzi going 3-for-10 heading into Tuesday's matchup. Ichiro could be a solid DFS play.

Carson Smith will undergo Tommy John surgery Tuesday.

After the Yankees went out and created a super bullpen this offseason, the Red Sox tried doing the same adding the likes of Craig Kimbrel and Carson Smith. However, Smith hasn't worked out thanks to injury and will now missed the remainder of the season after electing to get Tommy John surgery. Smith only pitched 2.2 innings this year so who knows how lethal the back end of the Sox pen could have truly been.

Brad Boxberger will make his fifth rehab appearance Wednesday.

Boxberger isn't rushing back and is making sure he's getting his work in before returning to the majors. He's likely going to make a few more appearances in the minors before being activated. We're not certain if he'll reclaim his prior role as the team's closer or if he'll slide into a setup position.

Bills GM Doug Whaley doesn't anticipate Sammy Watkins missing any time in the regular season but the Bills do not have a target for his return set.

After receiving surgery to repair a broken foot in April, the Bills expect Watkins to be ready to go for the regular season. That said, they're not sure when he'll be back before then and how much of the preseason he'll play in. Watkins is the Bills best offensive weapon and is poised to have a big year in fantasy.

Desmond Jennings is not in the Rays starting lineup Tuesday.

Jennings has continued to struggle as he his batting average has yet to raise above .200 since April 27. In fact, all of his numbers remain very low, except his 30 strikeouts. Corey Dickerson will get the start in left field, who also really hasn't showed much production in limited at-bats this season.

Matt Belisle (calf) tossed a scoreless inning Monday in his first minor league rehab appearance.

Belisle began his rehab assignment with a successful scoreless inning for Single-A Potomac, allowing one hit and collecting one strikeout. Belisle hasn't pitched in nearly a month, when he held a 1.50 ERA in six innings.
