Myers will miss his second consecutive game with the injury but the Padres have a day off Thursday so there is optimism that he will be able to return to the lineup by Friday. Brett Wallace has taken over at first base in his place and is hitting just .218 on the season in 87 at-bats, though he does a .393 on-base percentage.
