George Hill Headshot

George Hill will not play Thursday.

This has been a frustrating season for the guard as Hill is having a strong season by averaging 20 points, but has been plagued by many ailments that has kept him sidelined. Fantasy owners need to hold on to Hill, but it would be nice if he can stay healthy for a long stretch of time.

Darrell Arthur Headshot

Darrell Arthur started the second half of Wednesday's game in place of Kenneth Faried.

Faried was benched due to a coaches decision after the Nuggets appeared sluggish in the first half. There isn't much upside with Arthur or Faried so both can be considered deep options at this point.

Kenley Jansen Headshot

Nationals are making a late push for closer Kenley Jansen.

The Nationals have had to pivot a few times already this off-season and the latest involves acquiring a closer after losing out to Aroldis Chapman to to the Yankees. Jansen is coming off a monster season in which he saved 47 games and pitched to a 1.83 ERA, 0.67 WHIP along with a 104:11 K:BB ratio in 68 2/3 innings. Jansen would continue to be an elite closer in fantasy.

Adrian Peterson Headshot

Adrian Peterson (knee) says he plans to return to action if the Vikings have a shot at the playoffs.

The Vikings still have a chance for the playoffs despite losing their last two games and if they find a way to win in Week 14, they will be back in the hunt. Peterson has eyed a Week 15 or 16 comeback so there's a strong chance he returns. The question is can fantasy owners trust a player who has been out all season in the fantasy football playoffs? That decision will ultimately come down to how much risk an owner likes, but there's no doubt if Peterson is truly healthy, he will be an elite option.

Andrew McCutchen Headshot

Pirates are now likely to keep Andrew McCutchen, but may ask him to move to one of the corner outfield spots.

The veteran has been rumored to be moved with the Nationals as the prime target, but now McCutchen will prove he is still one of the game's best in a Pirates uniform. After a season finishing with a slash line of .256/.336/.430 along with 24 homeruns and 79 RBIs, McCutchen will look to bounce back in a big way. There's a chance the outfielder is a nice draft day bargain in 2017.

Aroldis Chapman Headshot

Yankees have signed Aroldis Chapman to a five-year contract worth $86 million.

The Yankees traded a bunch of prospects for Chapman, and then shipped him to the Cubs for a boatload of prospects. After getting a ring with the Cubs, Chapman entered free agency and signed back with the Bronx Bombers. The hard-throwing southpaw will be the team's closer, pushing Dellin Betances to a setup role. The Yankees may struggle a bit, but Chapman should still notch quite a few saves while helping out your fantasy team's ratios.

Gary Harris Headshot

Gary Harris could return in about a week.

Harris is expected to resume practicing here pretty soon, signifying that he is slightly ahead of schedule. He has missed the team's last 11 games with a sprained foot, but it seems to be that he could return in the next week to 10 days. His return will cut into some of Will Barton's playing time.
