Samaje Perine Headshot

Perine rushed 23 times for 117 yards and a touchdown while adding a nine-yard catch on two targets in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Saints.

Fellow running back Chris Thompson broke his fibula in this one, joining Rob Kelley (ankle/knee) on the list of sidelined Washington running backs. Those two injuries should leave Perine with all the touches he can handle moving forward, especially since he took advantage of an expanded role in this one with career-highs in carries and rushing yards to go with his first career rushing touchdown. The rookie fourth-rounder out of Oklahoma may yet live up to the preseason hype that surrounded him.

Kyle Busch Headshot

Busch finished second in the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday afternoon.

The No. 18 Toyota was the only car with the speed at the end to challenge Martin Truex Jr. for the win and championship. Busch led 43 laps, mainly in the second half of the event. He would try to track down Truex over the final green-flag laps, but would come up just short. He would finish second to Truex by just a couple car lengths. It was Busch's 14th Top-5 finish of the season, and he finishes second in the final driver standings as a result.
7:17 pm (EST)
Josh Richardson Headshot

Richardson left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Pacers after getting poked in the eye and will not return.

Richardson had put up 15 points in 30 minutes before exiting Sunday's contest, and due to the blowout nature, there was no chance the guard was going to return whether he was healthy enough or not. With two days off before the next game, Richardson should have plenty of time to recover and be able to return for Wednesday's matchup with the Celtics.
7:16 pm (EST)
Darren McFadden Headshot

McFadden is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

After playing just one snap in the first game during Ezekiel Elliott's six-week suspension, McFadden finds himself relegated to the inactive list where he's resided for most of the season. The Cowboys would turn to fullback Keith Smith as an emergency backup tailback if Alfred Morris or Rod Smith were to suffer an injury.
7:12 pm (EST)
Maxime Lagace Headshot

Lagace will get the start against Los Angeles on Sunday.

Even though Malcolm Subban is finally healthy from his lower-body injury, head coach Gerard Gallant wants to give Subban more practices and will roll with the hot hand of Lagace, who stopped 19 of 21 shots Thursday against Vancouver. Still Los Angeles is fresh off a four goal performance Saturday, and Lagace will need to bring his best effort to appease the home crowd.
7:10 pm (EST)
Kirk Cousins Headshot

Cousins completed 22 of 32 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns without an interception while rushing three times for 11 yards in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Saints.

Cousins exited briefly in the third quarter after taking a hit to the head on the same play that saw running back Chris Thompson break his fibula, but the quarterback was able to return unlike his backfield mate. While Cousins will surely miss a receiving back that's provided over 500 yards and four touchdowns through the air, he still has the weapons to succeed in Washington's pass-heavy offense. Cousins has made owners happy of late with over 320 passing yards in consecutive games, giving him five outings with over 300 yards this season.
7:10 pm (EST)
Wendell Smallwood Headshot

Smallwood (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game at Dallas, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

With Jay Ajayi fully implemented into the offense, the Eagles don't have a need for five running backs on the active roster Sunday. In Smallwood's stead, LeGarrette Blount, Corey Clement and Kenjon Barner will handle any reps left overs by Ajayi.
7:06 pm (EST)
Alshon Jeffery Headshot

Jeffery (ankle) is listed as active Sunday in Dallas, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to wrapping up the week with a full practice, Jeffery told Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia on Thursday that he'd "most definitely" suit up this weekend. Indeed, Jeffery is available against a Cowboys defense that has conceded 8.7 YPT and 11 touchdowns to wide receivers across nine games on the season.
7:03 pm (EST)
Kenny Agostino Headshot

Agostino was reassigned to AHL Providence on Sunday.

The 25-year-old was originally recalled on an emergency basis for the Bruins' three game road trip in California, and after not appearing in any of the contests Agostino will return to the minors. The New Jersey native saw substantial AHL success last season notching 93 points in 75 games including the playoffs, but has only recorded one assist in five games in the NHL this season.
7:01 pm (EST)
Danny Amendola Headshot

Amendola (dehydration) returned to Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Amendola had been deemed questionable to return to the game by the Patriots, but was able to return to the contest after re-hydrating. He's playing a key role in the Patriots' Week 11 offense, with fellow wideout Chris Hogan (shoulder) sidelined.
