LaMarcus Aldridge Headshot

LaMarcus Aldridge appeared on the Jim Rome Show Thursday to dismiss the recent rumors that he was unhappy in San Antonio.

The rumors of him being unhappy in the Alamo city have been going through the mill since last season about the time the All-Star break came up. He is still in San Antonio and the team is refuting the rumors vigorously including denying that they have had trade talks with any teams at any level. The genesis of said rumors are apparently due to the pitch that San Antonio sold him on in 2015 stating that he would be the center of the offense and that has yet to happen. However, the improvement of Kawhi Leonard wasn't necessarily part of the equation. Aldridge says the rumors are unfounded and he wants to remain with the Spurs however that could all be smoke and mirrors too.

Mohamed Sanu Headshot

Mohamed Sanu (groin) was limited in practice Thursday.

This is the first we're hearing about this injury in Week 7 so it sounds like it just cropped up on him on Thursday. He dealt with an elbow injury in Week 6 but played on Sunday and grabbed five catches, his most since Week 1, for 47 yards and a score, also his first since Week 1. Groin's however can be trickier to deal with than an elbow and if it lingers, could cost him some time. Look for his practice status on Friday to gain more information on his ability to play in Week 7.

Marcus Georges-Hunt Headshot

Celtics have waived Marcus Georges-Hunt.

Georges-Hunt was on a non-guaranteed contract and was really just a camp body for the Celtics. He is one of the five players to be cut by the start of the regular season, though Georges-Hunt is expected to stick in the organization and head to the Maine Red Claws D-league affiliate for Boston. Damion Lee and Jalen Jones were also cut bringing the C's down to 17 players on the roster.

Phillip Dorsett Headshot

Phillip Dorsett (ankle) did not practice Thursday. He's day-to-day.

There have been mixed reports on what he is actually dealing with injury-wise as in whether it's a hammy or an ankle. However the designation of day-to-day indicates that the Colts and Head Coach Chuck Pagano believe that it's not a serious issue. He will likely be listed as questionable heading into the Week 7 matchup with Tennessee, because he missed a practice. He has yet to fill in for the injured Donte Moncrief with any real fantasy impact and that is likely to continue again this week.

Andrew Luck Headshot

Andrew Luck (shoulder) was limited in Thursday's practice.

Here we go again with a limited practice on Thursday for Luck. This has been the Colts habit pretty much all season as they try to keep him fresh for Sunday's action now that we're in Week 7. He has been an elite option at QB this season, though that doesn't mean he hasn't been without stress during games. The shoulder ailment will be a thing that continues throughout the season, though it has not been effecting his ability to put up stats on the field.

Torrey Smith Headshot

Torrey Smith (back) was limited at Thursday's practice.

Smith is coming off his best game of the season in Week 6 with three grabs for 76 yards and a score in Colin Kaepernick's return to the starting role. That being said, Thursday is the first day this week he has appeared on the injury report so it could just be a flare up or it could have him questionable for Sunday. At this point, Friday's practice will hold the key to his status come game day though even if he plays, he is nothing more than a flex play at best since he has yet to snare more than three balls in any game this year.

T.Y. Hilton Headshot

T.Y. Hilton did not participate in Thursday's practice.

Hilton missed a practice last week with the hip injury as well and did practice, though in a limited fashion on Wednesday. He is still expected to play on Sunday in Week 7 against Tennessee, though playing through the injury in Week 6 slightly limited him to three catches for 49 yards on nine targets while playing 73 snaps, which was all but one on offense.

Pernell McPhee Headshot

Bears have elevated LB Pernell McPhee to the active roster.

McPhee has been on the PUP list and started practicing during Week 6. He has now been ruled ready to rejoin the Bears defense ahead of the Thursday night showdown with rival Green Bay. McPhee should really help out a struggling Bears pass rush at this point though that alone doesn't make them a solid fantasy relevant defense.
